Sun, May 04,2008:
I wore these for the first time today (5 miles hills) and they were fantastic! The overall cushion is greatly improved from the previous version. I'm 5'3" 145lbs, heavy step runner, and run approx. 20-25 miles per week. My 2 previous versions of the Wave Creation have not held as well as my ASICS Ge...

Love Wave Creations (5'2", 125 lbs, 46, Half marathoner 1:45ish, platypus feet w/ bunions). The elastic in the 9 version makes the shoe not as comfortable as previous versions riding a bit on the instep. Still like the shoe overall...

Tue, April 29,2008:
This shoe is fine if you're only running 5-6 miles. After that I got nasty blisters on the ends of my toes. I can't even walk now let alone run. I gave the shoes two tries but have had to switch. The cushioning is great in the heel but lacking in the forefoot area. Not impressed at all.

Although the shoe has a nice feel, the material on the outer part of the sole (where I strike the most) does not last long. After a few months of use, I was running on the plastic portion of the shoe.

Fri, April 18,2008:
I have been running in Mizuno's for about 5 years now and fell in love with the Wave Creation. I am a Marathon runner and have enjoyed the cushion, staying injury free. The 9 though is terrible. The new tongue system has caused my foot nothing but problems. I purchsed two pair of these at the sa...

Fri, April 11,2008:
A loyal Wave Creation wearer - these shoes have an elastic tab that connects the tongue of the shoe to the side. I have never had a problem with Mizunos before but Wave Creation 9 gave me blisters on the side of my foot just past my big toe. I have to return them and ordered the Wave Creation 8's...

Wed, March 19,2008:
The outsole does not last! Within about 100 miles, the carbon had worn off and I was running on Plastic! Otherwise, extremely comfortable shoe. Not worth the $. I weigh 120. Very disappointing.

I am a 30+ mile a week, neutral, medium frame marathoner who wears perscription orthodics. I really appreicate the cushion of this shoe. It holds up very well on the long runs; no foot/knee/hip pain and no blisters. I also liked the 9 and think that the upper may be sligthly improved. A good solid...

Love the heel fit. At first try they felt odd, but after 2 runs (even 1 run) these are my new favorites. No more nagging knee pain! Great for high arches as I have.

Fri, February 15,2008:
I've been a loyal Mizuno buyer ever since I first discovered them two years ago. I have to say, a few months ago I spent about $250 in doctors visits and tests for a mysterious pulsating pain in my right calf, which continued even after I stopped running with my last pair of creations. It only went...
