NIce shoe. I am a stability+ runner, usually an Asics buyer, and I waited for about 120 mi to write a review on the Alchemy. The Alchemy hold up great - especially the cushioning, as evidenced by several marathons with no lower leg or foot pain. I find the action in the Wave Alchemy not as responsive as the Wave Nirvana, but Nirvana felt a bit funny in the arch and my lower legs hurt on longer runs.

Bought these shoes around spring and have put a lot of miles on them and they are still like new. They have great cushion and support. Held up better then the Saucony hurricane 10 shoes.

My first and last Mizuno. Compered with adidas, no cushioning at all, feels like running on a bricks... Only after 100 km my lower lwgs are totally dead. Back to adidas

I loved this shoe! They were a little big when I got them, but soon enough felt wonderful in them. I put in some Mid-intensity millage in track this year and they held up perfectly and felt great on even the hardest workout

The Mizuno Wave Alchemy 8 are my current training shoe. So far they are holding up great. They have alot of medial support and are pretty light weight. I have low arches and these are a great stability and motion control shoe. I average between 60-100 mile weeks. These can support the high mileage. I have put in 300 miles on them and they are holding great. They are perfect for over pronators and those with running problems such as runners knee and popping hip syndrome. They are a great shoe and they are an excellent high mileage shoe.

I freaking love these! I ran 500+ miles on them last xc season and they're still in great shape. They're very comfy too.

If you need a good deal of support and like a firmer shoe, Alchemy 8 is a great option. Tried this one and the NB 859. Ended up going with the Alchemy. Overall very light and super stable. I'd put this close to motion control with 859, but doesn't have the clunky feel of one. Cushioning is good for my heavy frame. Inner profile works great for my flat feet. It has everything you need and very few unnecessary extras that add weight.

In three previous marathons I have run in Alchemy's. But last year's shoe 7 gave me a blister by the end of the marathon. I have been running in 8's for a month and after the runs my left foot is left numb. I am returning these and trying Renegades.

was running in Nike triax 10, but Nike decided to "improve" it and came out with the triax 11 - horrible shoe. On the recommendation on the shoe clerk I tried these and am absolutely thrilled. Great cushioning, good weight, no shin or heel pain, plenty of room in the toe box.

I am trying the Mizunos after years of running in the Asics 2080. So far, so good. Shoe fit a little loose in the heel but was remedied with lacing. Accomodates orthotics and does not feel nearly as bulky as I would have expected. Smooth ride, nice cushioning. Felt a little roomer than the 7 in the toe as well. Keeping my fingers crossed!
