I wasn't sure about these when I got them and was having significant ankle problems when I bought them. I generally run 30-35 miles per week on asphalt, I have a medium frame and normal to high arches - after a week of running in these shoes - my aches and pains have all but disappeared. Unfortunately, it seems like I can only get them in pink (which I have a profound distaste for) but liked the shoe so much I bought a second pair. And yes, you DO have to break these shoes in.

I actually really like this version better than the 8. I switched to asics because i didn't like the 8 but now i'm back to this shoe again. The 8 toe box was too wide and now the 9 fits perfectly. I have high arches and wear these with superfeet and they are great. And personally, anything that is pink, rocks. :-)

I have worn every version of the Precision, and this is by far the most rigid. I hope with the ten the will revert back to the 7 or 8 versions.

I found the toe-box a little narrower in these, as compared to the 8's. And the sole is a lot more rigid, with too high an arch (and I have high arches!!). This is supposed to be a light, flexible performance shoe, but it feels more like a stiff stability trainer. Mizuno is notorious for continually changing their shoes. Back to ASICS for me.

Mizuno increased the width this shoe at the mid-step to mid-heel. I have no earthly idea what they were thinking: not only does it GAPE open, it chaffs, laterally, as another reviewer said, as that would be a brilliant deduction with the "air" one gets with this shoe. So I can't run in it, and I can't bring to wear the ugly things around--keep Mizuno honest and sent them back to previous model that fit like shoes are supposed to fit. Surely they can do better than this!

A great light neutral shoe that you can still wear for everyday training even though it's a "performance" shoe. I have narrow feet with high arches and they work well for me.

the new fit is a miss for me. loved mizunos for years but the forefoot has so much lateral movement that I've gotten the first blisters I've had in years. hate to do this but mizuno's change will likely change me into another brand.
