Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe:

These are the best shoes I've ever run in. I'm lightweight and have high arches. The other neutral cushioned shoes I've tried have all been too firm for a small person like me to compress or they have been too soft and squishy feeling. But these are just right. Love 'em!

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe:

Like previous reviewers, I've been disappointed in the last 3 models of this shoe. The Creation used to be my all-time fave marathon shoe for its comfort and ability to stand up to miles, even on concrete, but the wave plate has become so hard and the heel height so pronounced it is like running on bricks. I'm 120 lbs. and a neutral runner.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe:

I really love the cushion and rebound I get in this shoe. I have very high arches, and with my arch support orthotics, get exactly what I need in this shoe. They have held up well, with approximately 250 miles on them so far. I am ordering my next pair now, as they are "endangered"!

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe:

This has been the best shoe I've ever run in. But unfortunately, you can't rely on another person's review when you pick out running shoes. Every shoe I ran in and didn't like was well-reviewed by someone. There's no substitute for trying them on yourselves and accepting there will be some trial and error. As for me, I hope the 11's will work as well for me.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe:

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe:

I have nothing but good things to say about this shoe. I used to run in the Wave Rider and other brands, but tried these and it feels like they were made for just my feet. They ended my bout with shin splints. I have run over 100 miles now and have no problems with the quality of the shoe. I wear an 8 street size and an 8 1/2 was just fine; a 9 may also suit well (I would have to try them!). I love Mizunos and have tried other brands but keep coming back. The brand is fantastic. The shoes are my faves by far. The shock absorbsion is what sold me.

Don't bother if you are looking for any cushioning. If you have high arches, your feet will ride too high in the shoe, causing heel slip. This is my second and last try of Mizunos.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe:

I tried these shoes on my treadmill and returned them. First off, they run more like 3/4 of a size small, not just 1/2. I liked the way they guided my stride--I am a neutral runner that can be easily pushed into supination with the wrong shoe. These shoes kept me neutral and had OK arch support. BUT....like so many others have noticed...they are hard as rocks. I have a pair of OLD worn out Saucony Omni 5's, and I get about the same amount of cushion from them (with inserts) as the brand new Mizunos. Why pay for new shoes if they aren't any better than my old worn out ones?

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe:

They were comfortable, but felt too stiff to me. My feet "slap" too much when running and just don't feel right. I tried them as a departure from the Nimbus 10's because I wanted to try a different brand, but I went right back.

Better than Asics, however I find they are hard and my heels get sore. I am 150lbs so I am putting a lot of force on them. They just aren't very cushioned and I have noticed I get some shin pain after wearing them. They are good to alternate on low mileage days.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe:

Much better feel than the 8s and 9s. I'm a long-time Mizuno wearer and was disappointed in the last 2 models of the Creation but thought these were much more comfortable. Softer, extremely supportive ride, and very durable. Perfect for narrowish feet like mine with average arches looking for a long-dtistance training shoe. Runs shorter than some of the previous models so definitely buy 1/2-1 full size up.

Keep hoping I'll break them in, but after 40 miles they still feel stiff and hard, heavy and uncomfortable on long runs. I wore the first couple models of the Creation and wish Mizuno would bring those models back! I think these shoes would work best for heavier runners.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 10 Running Shoe:

I have had these shoes for just about 3.5 months, and like Julie's pair, mine are coming apart at the soles too (the black rubber is detaching from my pair as well). I LOVED the comfort of these shoes when I first got them, but after such a short time period, these soles should not be coming apart like this (ESPECIALLY for the amount of money I paid for them). I only run about 10 miles per week, so I can't even attribute this to overuse...

I have a really tight achillies hill and these shoes are perfect for me. I can run 40 miles a week without a problem wearing this pair every day.
