I am a long time runner and have always run in New Balance and Asics. I was told to give Mizuno a try and it was the worst feeling on my feet ever! I had to stop go back home and put my Asics to finish my run. The oustside of my feet hurt and there is no cushioning.

I bought these to replace a pair of Adidas Megabounce. They ended up being a huge improvement. Much better cushioning.

This shoe is like wearing nothing at all. Extremely comfortable. Its a little bit hard on the forefoot but its awesome at the heel. Its very responsive accelerating. Best shoe, lot better than Asics 2140 and Asics Nimbus 11.

Love this shoe, bit stiff at beginning, but soon is great.
My old 8's went for 400 miles until i wore the sole out.
Love them, i found they felt lighter than the Nimbus and more resposive
6 foot 200lbs, 40-50 miles pw.
Used for long and recovery runs

I'm 6'1", 205. Used to run on Wave Creations several years ago and I loved them. I switch over the Saucony ProGrid Triumph until Saucony succeeded in jacking those up!! So I decided I would switch back to the Mizunos. These are the worst Wave Creations I have run on. The heel is too stuff and I now have nagging knee pain during and after I run. Definitely NOT the Wave Creations from several years ago.

Very good heal cushion. Fairly comfortable. Better for concrete or asphalt running. Soft bottom not durable enough for train running.

I am 6'3", 225. I needed ortho's because my left pronates more than my right. I found these to be amazing because the problem seems to be corrected. I run to get in shape for basketball so I do 400's, 300's and 200's in these, twice a week, and a little distance once a week. They work well because there is the perfect match of bounce and support under my midfoot, which is where i strike when sprinting. Amazing. Thanks Mizuno.

This has been a great shoe for me. First shoe since the Nimbus 9 that allows me to run without thinking at all about mt feet or shins. I'm 5'11, 185lbs and I run 15-20 miles a week and bike 60-80 miles a week-both in these shoes.

This shoe is better for bigger runners; less good for lighter runners or those who strike mid-foot rather than on their heels. I am 5'9 150lbs and find them solid, well-supported, but a bit too clunky.

you shouldn't base buying a shoe off of other people's review, if you have problems with shin splints or knee pain, go see a specialist on what kind of shoe to wear. i know this shoe is more for larger people with a high arch.

I have purchased two pairs of these 10 from RRS and loved them both. These are the best shoes I have owned and if you care about your feet you will purchase these shoes.
I do place inserts in them and they work great. I have ran in Nike, addias, NB, Sacrony, and these are the best - worth every penny! I just wish they made a cross trainer shoe. If they do someone let me know. If you are a runner and/or cross-train RRS is the place to purchase your shoes. The service is great and after the sale is great!

I just finished running my 5th marathon, generally run 40-50 miles a week and these are, hands down, the best shoe I've ever owned. No longer do I need my orthotics or special inserts. My feet don't hurt, my knees feel better, just a fastastic shoe! Only drawback is the soles take a beating on rough, rocky trail. But other than that, these shoes are GREAT!

The last time I ordered creations was the last chance I gave to Mizuno (a brand I was loyal for over 8 years). It didn't work out. I went back to Nike, now that they finally understood they should --for running-- be making running not fashion shoes.

I did my research before hand since I was looking for a shoe for bigger runners, 6 foot 230 lbs. I should have tried these shoes on before buying. The third wave plate connection from the rear, the blue connection in the middle, really digs into the outside of my feet. It's like running and walking on golf balls. They hurt my feet and aren't pleasant to walk or run in. Maybe I got a defective pair because otherwise they would suit me. I tried to break them in but the mounds pressing my feet persist. I'm going to give the Nimbus or Kayano a try...

I am a 6 ft 180 lb experienced distance runner who regularly logs 70 miles plus per week. The series 10 update of the creation is much better than the 9 . It would be a perfect shoe if the technology design went back to the series 2 or 3 creations before the plastic plate. Although a heavy shoe it ,shines in LSD,s and the height reduces stress on the achilles tendon. I have run 4 marathons in them and find them not suitable for quick turnover, especially near mile 20 onwards. They definitely absorb impact and reduce injury. All round ,I,ve been wearing them since series one for a long trainer and they can,t be beat.

I run 15 to 20 miles weekly and weigh about 245 lbs. I purchased these shoes based upon a recommendation from some experienced runners. These shoes are fantastic! They feel great and help improve my foot strike.
I love 'em! I also purchased Superfeet Orange which makes them even better.

Excellent shoe. I'm 6'2, and when I started with Mizuno on the model 9 I weighed in at around 260+. Even at my weight (which has since reduced to about 210), the wave board is able to very effectively absorb the impact of my foot strikes.
I'm now using the model 10 and it's even better than the 9s were.

I have used this brand of shoe to run two marathons over the past 3 years, and I swear by them. The new Wave Creation 10 is a higher ride feel shoe, a bit heavy, but very stable. My first practice run in these shoes went very well, and my feet did not feel sore afterwards. I recommend this shoe for anyone looking for a shoe that will support their weight and give their feet and legs comfort through many a long run. By the way I am a 6' male, and I weigh about 184 lbs.

I am 6' male 180 lbs, run between 25-35 miles a week, high arch. Not a bad shoe. At first feel, it is a bit heavy and it does feel a little higher than a typical neutral shoe. But does run well, with support, and cushioned support. Do not recommend for tempo or interval running, however is great for those 10-15 mile long runs. After these runs my back and knees typically are sore, not after running with these shoes.

This shoe rides a bit higher than many of the neutral shoes I have tried. They are also considerable heavier, but the cushioning is outstanding, and the support is really good for long (20+), abusive runs.

Wore the 9s which were OK - fit wasn't great and very firm cushioning. The 10s are much better - fit is fantastic and cushioning is much softer. First impressions weren't good and nearly gave up after 50 yards, but kept going for 4 miles and by the end they felt great. Just take a little getting used to as so different to the previous model.

Did 8 miles on it. Upper is comfy. Solid and stable. Love the heel height and smooth transition. A bit heavy and clunky and could be more sharply responsive off the heel strike. It's not the Creation 2000 (PLEASE BRING IT BACK!), but it's not bad.
