6' 2", 170 lb, overpronator. Just tried this shoe to replace the Wave Elixer 5 which was much too stiff in the forefoot. This shoe has mediocre transition from the outside heel into the midfoot strike. Ride is average; outsole is compliant though. Stability platform too stiff for my liking. Going to try the Nike Lunarglide or Vomero 4.

Good stability in a nice ride. Upper could be a little shorter around the ankle. It can cause some rubbing

Great shoe. Feels lighter than advertised and allows for great roll through the step. MIzuno doesn't pack so much junk into the shoe (thick cushion, heavy duty plastic Motion control stuff), which allows your foot to actually feel the step, which I think is key to good mechanics. I wear custom orthotics (chronic ITBS, currently running pain-free in this shoe). I would run races in these shoes, they feel quick.

Ran a race in these last year, and later accepted a 30K sign-on bonus to work in a skilled nursing facility; hated the job, eventually developed a serious drinking/cocaine problem to deal with the work stress, and the 30K only covered about a month of my 90day stay at Passages to clean up (plus, after taxes, I only kept about 18K of my bonus money). So I ended up really deep in the ditch, and now I can't even drink to unwind --but none of my problems have anything to do with these shoes, which have a reliably responsive ride and can really take a bruising.

I had to switch over to a stability shoe when I saw film of my stride. These shoes straightened me right out. The film with these shoes showed just how much support they give even though they are very light.

Once I found these shoes, I have never bought a different pair of shoes. I ran my first marathon in these shoes and will be running my next this December. A great shoe for the price. Highly recommended.
