I have been wearing Mizuno Wave Creation running shoes for over 10 years now and there is nothing else that compares. I train 5 days a week and have enjoyed every version of this shoe since the wave creation 3 when I ran my first 1/2 marathon. Ever since then I have been a huge Mizuno Fan.

6' 180lbs Love this shoe. Run 25 to 30 miles a week. High arches. They take a little longer to break in. Little stiff at first. Don't judge them until you get 10 or 15 miles on them. After that they might be the best shoe I have had in the last 5 years. I know some complain that the heal wears out quickly. I replace my shoes every 400 miles. I am at 385 miles on this pair and haven't had any of the heel wear problems others have had. My only small complaint is the price. I generally don't like to spend over $100 on pair of shoes. This shoe is so good I don't mind paying a little extra.

I'm planning on buying these shoes this week. I have a pair of wave creation 10's that lasted approximately 200 miles. The heel (bottom portion) is worn through nearly to the hard wave-spring material below the black and then yellow sole material.

I've not had any issues with arch, foot, calf or knee problems with these shoes. Granted, I'm 5'9", 158# and am in pretty good shape for a 39 year old but I'd recommend these shoes for other people with my same body shape. I primarily run asphalt though I did run a 15K last weekend on a trail with a lot of hills and stairs and the shoes were fine.

ive been wearing mizuno's to run between 4-7 miles a day.love the extra bounce in the heel and the stability that they give me. i have always been looking for that perfect sneaker for my run, at this point i have found them..

Got these on a trial basis, looking for a running shoe that was a little more comfortable. I'm a 6'0" 260lb guy and have a problem finding comforable running shoes. I always end up with some level of numbness and discomfort in my forefoot while running. I got these and was immediately unsure of them, as the rear arches seemed to give way too easily while walking around, and caused a slight outward roll on the heel impact. I figured that I better run with them a couple of times before I passed judgement on them (after all that is what the VIP membership is for). After my first run, my tune changed. What a great shoe for someone my size. I finished a 3 mile run and felt like I was walking on air...no numbness, discomfort, or problems. It is a great shoe for a larger framed runner with no major over or under pronation. I leave my runs feeling comfortable and relaxed, which makes running more enjoyable.

I don't know if they wear out faster than other shoes, but I'm ok with that, given the level of comfort I have with them.

After years of running in Nikes, I finally switched over to the Wave Creation (from Vomeros, also nice) and intend to stick with Mizunos. I'd always gone with Nike over other brands because they fit my foot the best and had lots of cushioning. The Mizunos fit even better (slightly more form-fitting) with comparable cushioning. I do, however, prefer snug shoes, so you may wish to take care if you have very wide feet.

Incidentally, I noticed some prior comments on the heels wearing out quickly. I've been training pretty heavily in the Creations for about a month and have noticed nothing out of the ordinary. Caveat emptor, I suppose, but I haven't had any problems.

These shoes offer a real bounce. I am a pretty big guy (210lbs) - my guess is that a lighter runner would get even more kick out of them. At my size I tend to lose a little momentum with the compression, but I did appreciate the impact absorption. They also offer a very natural transition from heel to toe; other shoes end up feeling flat-footed by comparison.

I would offer one caution. The insoles of these shoes seem to have more in common with the Mizuno Inspire, a "stability" shoe, than with their "neutral" Wave Rider. I found the mid-foot stability features of the Inspire gave me hot spots, and I had the same issue with the Creation.

6ft170lbRun20miles/week. Been in WaveRiders for about 2 yrs. Have high arch and wide forefoot. WR13 rubbed forefoot so tried the Wave Creation 11. Fits fine and stiff at first but loosens up. Have about 200miles on them and inner heal is really wearing fast, much faster wear rate than the much less expensive Wave Rider shoes. I run about half my miles on packed dirt trails so this wear rate is really accelerated in my opinion.

I am a US Marine who we all know has to run at least three days a week and this is the best shoe I have ever ran in. I normally wear out a pair of shoes in 3 months, and I have not wornout these in 6 months!!! I love these shoes!!!!!!!! They are also great for just wearing casual to walk in!!!

I am 6'3", 225. I enjoy running in the Creation 10 because of the sufficient arch support, excellent mid-foot strike cushioning and good breathe-ability. The Creation 11 is more of joy because of the noticeably reduced weight and the snugger fit without the subtraction of any of the other favorable aspects. It's not necessary to tie these tightly to feel my toes staying in contact with the shoe the entire run. Great improvement.

Have loved previous versions, but this one has a narrow, rigid heel that gives me blisters and bruising after just a few miles.

This shoe seems to work the best for me. The only problem, and it's a BIG one, is that the heel wears incredibly fast and actually shreds. After only a couple hundred miles you can see through holes in the heels. i wish Mizuno could make the same shoe with tougher heels

I can't even begin to describe how good these are. I'm over 200 lbs. and have a high arch, and these are better than the Creation 10's. So far I've run about 20 miles in these, and they have shown little wear. A SUPERB update, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I run 10-15 miles or week and average 3-5 middle distance events per year. Good support and fit for medium build runner. Highly recommend Mizuno product for fit and durability.

Ran in Asics Kayanos for years with mixed results and poor durability. Needed more cushioning, slightly less stability / support, and better durability...never got more than 200-250 miles on a pair before the sole was worn and cushioning was gone.

Thank you Mizuno! No more injuries, runs are more comfortable. I now have over 220 miles on these shoes and they show NO SIGNS of breaking down. Sole is still in great shape. Might get 400-500 miles out of these.

I'm a Clydesdale marathon / half marathon runner (225 lbs), so I'm tough on shoes.
