Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: These shoes really have plusses and minusses and they are only right for you if you like a certain ride. They are definetely a harder shoe in terms of cushion/shock absorption. In that regard I don't really like them because I am a midfoot striker and I feel kind of beat up after running in them for a long period of time. On the other hand, Mizuno does have a nice responsiveness to their shoes. So if you are running faster, they do seem to have a certain "energy" that helps you along rather then hinders you like some shoes that are softer but just flat. They are a lower profile shoe and there's not a ton of room in the toe box in terms of volume so my toe nails get squooshed a lot. I have been wearing Mizunos for years but I think this is my last pair simply because I want more cushion. The problem is finding a pair of trainers that are as light as these. When you get more cushion, you get weight. That's the trade off. So it really is a personal thing.
Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I have been running in these shoes for a long time, they are the best for my marathon training! Wave Rider is the best! Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I now have a major heel problem. I ignored the pain in my heel from running in these shoes. Pros

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I have been running in Mizunos for years but just switched to the Wave Riders last year. I have to say I love these shoes. The best way to describe them is that I never think about them when I'm running. They fit so well that I never give them a second thought once I lace them up. I am now on my third pair and don't plan to switch any time soon.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: This is quite a small shoe compared to other brands. The original size I bought was too small, I had to go from narrow to medium width and up half a size in length.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: Really prefered the Wave Rider 9s. The 13s just don't seem to be quite as comfortable and lack just a little of the support of my old 9s. Still like the shoe, just don't love it.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I am a competitive runner mostly concentrating on long distance. (1/2 marathon and marathons) I love these shoes and wear nothing else. But I only get two months wear out of them. That gets very expensive after a while. I go through 3 pair training for a marathon. The outside of the heel just shreds like an old tire. I'd love to know what causes this and if anyone else has this complaint.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: Would be nice if they lasted longer, but I hope they keep making them because they're the only shoes that allow me to marathon train without shin splints and plantar faciitis! I've been a fan since the 7's...tried a few different shoes in between models...came back every single time completely satisfied with this product!

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I am an avid runner; running 30+ miles per week. I'm very particular about my running shoes. My favs have always been New Balance, until I discovered Mizuno Wave Riders. I have a wider foot so other brands like Nikes and Asics are too narrow in the toes. I have bought the last 3 series of Mizuno - now the 13 series. The most awesome fit, great flexibility and light weight. Everyone's foot is different, but if you are an underpronator and like a light weight (less cushiony) shoe, definitely give it a try!
Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: i love the wave rider and have run in them for years...this shoe is great and I love it! Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I agree. These shoes feel hard and flat. Not nicely broken in but worn out! Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: These shoes are great! They feel already broken in when I put them on and are really light. I stopped at the 10's and I am glad I came back to the 13's. I have always found the WR to be less cushioned which I like a lot because cushioned shoes are heavier and I feel I can run farther with light shoes. If you are looking for more support/ cushioning try the Mizunos for stability. Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: Oh no, they did it again. I only like about every third Wave Rider version. Pros

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I've purchased wave rider 13s for my last five pairs of running shoes and never had a problem. However, in this last pair, i actually had to buy insoles because the balls of my feet hurt after running only about 60 miles. Unusual! I've loved all my previous wave rider 13s.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I have very narrow feet and after a couple of trial and errors trying to find the perfect shoe I realized I needed a narrow shoe and these are perfect. I would highly recommend narrow width to anyone struggling with narrow feet and heels.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I wear this shoe every day. Best, as with all shoes, to buy two pairs and switch off every day. I also trade out the flimsy insoles for a pair of over-the-counter orthotics, which provide better support.
