Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: I went to a RoadRunner sports nearby and had my stride analyzed and they had suggested a stability shoe. I purchsed the Mizuno Wave Inspire 7 for my first shoe. I then read that the Wave Nirvana was Mizuno's best stability shoe. I purchsed the wave Nirvana and have been very happy. I have since purchased 2 pairs and would recommend it as a very good stability shoe. I run 4-5 days a week 25-35 miles a week. I run on old railraods converted to trails, asphalt roads and concrete sidewalks, with a once a week track workout.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: Great support shoe without too much weight. 1st run was a bit uncomfortable, but ever since it's been real smooth and I have no aches/pains after long runs. Wave technology works great, awesome support but not too chunky/heavy. Ran a marathon in them this past Sunday and other than relatively normal muscle soreness, I have no aches to complain about. Long time ITBS sufferer, these take my orthotics nicely. Only minor issue, I had to get the next size up, they seem about a 1/2 size smaller than the other Mizuno's I wear.

Best Uses Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: This is the first shoe that I have worn in a long time that did not require me to replace the insoles immediately. The wave technology in this shoe made for great stability that was right for me. This was a good choice for a 6'1" 220lb and dropping, 30 a mile per week runner. Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: Back with the Nirvana after dabbling with the Saucony Hurricane 11 and this model is as good as the Nirvana 4 (which is my all time favourite shoe ). Little stiff out of the box but after a couple of runs, is smooth and providing good mid-foot to toe transition and there is no discernible foot movement within the shoe at all. For me a better shoe than the Hurricane 11. FYI .. I am 6^ 2" and 180 pounds and a mid foot striker. Pros

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: This is about my 10th pair of Wave Nirvanas. They are durable and very supportive, especially for a larger runner. I am 6'1", 190, flat-footed and overpronating, and I run about 17-20 miles per week. These shoes are excellent for a runner like me. I have worn a variety of shoes in over 20 years of running and I've found Mizunos to be my go-to shoe for about the last 6-7 years. Buy them and you won't regret it. I also recommend getting some custom innersoles for maximum comfort and support.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: 4 1/2 STARS! I ordered these shoes to replace my Equalon 4. I've done 2 5-milers in them and overall, I think they're great for training. Heel-to-toe transition is good. They're light and supportive. The fit is what I like the most. They hold my heel in the best out of any shoe I've tried. The support is awesome but in my opinion, they can use a little more cushioning, hence the 1/2 star. One minor thing is that the collar is a little high and it rubs up against my ankle while running. (I'm 5'7" and 145 lbs. I run about 10-20 miles/wk.)

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: I was torn between the Nirvana 6 and the Saucony Paramount 2. They both fit like a glove, but I choose the Paramount because it's one of the best looking shoes I've ever seen (and amazing fit). However, my ankles and shins began to hurt within an hour. I took them back and got the Nirvana 6 and couldn't be happier. I had history with the Nirvana 3&4 and been happy, so it's not surprising. Quite possibly the best fit/performance of any running shoes I've ever had.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: Fantastic shoe for overpronaters who need stability plus. I used to run in Kayanos, but changed to Mizuno with the Nirvana 4. The 6 is a big improvement. I love the mocassin-like toebox, and the cushioning also is improved. These also look much better than the Nirvana 4 in my opinion. I'm a little runner at 5'10" 130 lbs, and the two pairs of 4's lasted me 450 miles each. Hoping for similar results here.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: This shoe rates up with the NB 1225s. I am 6'0", 240 lbs, 25 miles a week. great support and cushioning. I have the orange superfeet insoles for extra support. very impressed.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: After years of searching I have finally found the right shoe. I started running about 4 years ago and was plagued with shin splints from the beginning. I tried 8 different shoes experimenting with various OTC and custom orthotics in search of relief from shin splints. I was professionally fit twice to no avail. For the past 2 years I have been running in Asics Kayano's with custom orthotics with good results. I had been hearing good things about Mizuno wave technology and decided to try the Nirvana. WOW! Instant relief!! These shoes are sweet! I get absolutely no shin pain when I run in them. No other shoe has allowed me to run consecutive days without pain. Mizuno hit this one right on the head for me.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: Wearing these shoes around the gym or simply working out they felt comfortable. However, these were meant for running which I only could do five times in these shoes. The heel didn't have enough cushioning for me, much too stiff. I'm a heel striker and a bit heavy, that much weight coming down on one heel at a time proved I need better heel cushioning. These shoes gave me such heel pain after five days of running that I had to take a full week off.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: My feet have always been happy in New Balance shoes, but I have occasionally liked Mizunos. These do not disappoint: they are a little snugger than a typical NB stability shoe but still OK in the forefoot, which I like big. One caveat however: I think they run more than 1/2 size small..,contrary to RRS' fit advice. I exchanged the first pair for one that is a full size bigger than a true-to-fit shoe and they are great.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: Good running shoes for road running. Fits well and comfortable. Although inside liner seems to get in the way of socks. Could do away with inside liner or sew the liner to shoes to avoid bunching up should be my recommendation for next model upgrade.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: Shoe fit great, but too heavy and too stiff. I ran only one time in them and it was my slowest 5 miles in 6 months. I like the stability control, but this shoe had too much stability control. I returned them for something more flexible.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 6 Running Shoe: I usually buy Stability shoes but am looking to have a pair of shoes that have a little more support. These shoes are Stability + shoes and are a little heavier but do provide a lot more support. This is a nice shoe.
