        very fast, responsive, lightweight training shoes, perfect for tempo runs or intervals. I use them also for mountain running, because they have good traction also on wet rocky terrain. I started with Elixir 2: They were unbealivable good, lang lasting shoes (I made almost 1900 km - 1180 miles with them). The third and fourth were a little beat faster. Than I change them for Asics DS Trainers. This, the sixst edition of Elixir I combine with DS Trainer 16. Both are great!

          Just have a few runs in these so far but they fit so well right out of the box! Didn't notice any "break in" period at all and they feel super light. Have worn multiple brands over the last 10 years and this is my first pair of Mizuno. Very impressed! I'm an ultra marathoner and going to run 26.2 next month in these and shooting for a PR!

              Absolutely love them!! After wearing Asics I never thought I would find a better shoe. I was wrong. The Wave Elixer 6 is far better, just as comfortable but much faster and very durable. I have put about 300 miles on them and they still look brand new. I am truly hooked on my Mizunos!!
