Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Precision 12 Running Shoe: When I purchased these a few months ago I had just received my very first pair of custom orthotics. The guy at the running store suggested going with a lighter, more like a minimal shoe to make up for the weight of the orthotics. I tried Brooks Pure Flows (inserts made the ankle support too low/loose on the heel), Saucony Kinavaras (I'm just not a Saucony person...have 2 pair that I rarely wear) and these. With my orthotics in the ankle still feels supported and yes, there was some slight heel slide which was easily remedied with an alternative lacing style. I wore them for one 1 mile run before running a double half marathon the first weekend I had them...so, pretty much straight out of the box. Comfortable, no rubbing, felt like I had been wearing them for months even though it was the first time running in them and the first time using my orthotics (yes, I broke the "do not use brand new gear for a race" rule in numerous ways...not just regarding shoes!). Love these, but really wishing that the 12's came in some different colors...I'm not a fan of overly pink shoes.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Precision 12 Running Shoe: I have been running in Precisions for about 3 years I believe. The shoe really works for me personally. I run anywhere from 20 to 60 miles per week depending on my training cycle. This version is the same as the others except the upper wears out very fast in fact my pinky toe actually breaks through the shoe. I just ordered the 13s and am hoping that the upper is more durable although I am really depressed with the Pepto Bismol color. Truth be told, I like for my toes to spread out and would be glad if they made the toe box even wider so that my pinky toe didn't want to break through. Just another 1/4 of an inch on the outside of the toe box and less of a tapered toe would be a massive improvement. I would love to see Mizuno embrace the minimalist/barefoot movement.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Precision 12 Running Shoe: If you like the Precision 11 you probably will not like the 12's. Less forefoot cushion, feels as if heel is slipping and made my shins ache after only two miles. I am training for a marathon and won't be doing it in theses shoes!
