    I've loved the feel of prior Wave Creations. They felt like they were pained onto my feet - that light and natural feeling. But this Wave Creation disappoints in the rear foot. It feels hard upon the heal for a heal striker like me. I'm used to more of a full foot cushioned shoe. I went from Ascis Nimbus back to this Wave creation. Oh well Live and learn. If you strike mid to forefoot, these will be great, though.

          I am an older runner (65). I do trail running about 6.4 miles at least every other day. I like these shoes because of the cushioning. I had problems with Achilles tendonitis and wanted something that would give better cushioning. When I switched to Mizuno, I first started out with the Nirvana. I eventially switched to Creation, but I'm not sure why. Definitely size up 1/2 as recommended. On the negative side, the trail I run on has small gravel -- sometimes a piece will get trapped in the cushioning space underneath the shoe. If this happens, you need to stop and remove it, because it will cause rapid wear in that area of the shoe. This shoe is ideal for running on pavement, but I almost got run over oncee, and I almost got hit by a wheel that came off a truck another time. So I stick to the trails. Also, the area at the top back of the heel wears faster than other areas. I would like to try the Prophecy, but the Creation is the price limit for me.

          Started with the Wave Rider 7 and switched to the Wave Creation 8 because I'm a heavier runner and have had every version since. Love the shoes and they don't seem to ever break down. I do typically use a size 10 and bought these in a 10.5. Today's 6 mile run was a success.
