These shoes have allowed me to run pain-free for the first time in several weeks. I've battled plantar fasciitis and injuries related to it. Out of frustration, I went to a running store to see what shoes they would recommend. These were the last pair I tried on and "test drove" in the parking lot. They fit better than any shoe I've used in all my years of running, and after completing a 200-mile relay race in them, I am thrilled with my purchase. I would not have tried these on my own, but I am glad that the thoughtful salesperson at RRSports in Atlanta suggested I try them on. I'm back on the road, thanks to the Wave Nirvanas!

Significant improvement over the Nirvana 7 overall. More room across the forefoot, better ride, and control. Stability plus for sure. Ummm, much happier!

This is an amazing shoe for distance running in those of us who need a real shoe for miles of pounding the pavement. It provides nice pronation control that is supurb with RoadRunners Motion Control insoles. The insoles really add to cusioning as well. Mizuno has made an impressive contribution to the stability shoe with this product. I have found this to be a great shoe for midfoot running.

Used this along with the Wave Inspire 8. Wear a 10.5 in both (order half size larger than normal). This shoe STOPS pronation. The footbed, however, gets very hard quickly - screams out for a good insole. Overall, very satisfied with this shoe. Done half-marathons with both Nirvana and Inspire and they are very close, with the Inspire a bit softer with just a touch less support.

I made the switch from wearing neutral running shoes to stability running shoes after having my gait looked at. These shoes have given new life to my calves and ankles!! Love them...will buy another pair!!!

I've been running in Wave Nirvanas for years and this is probably the best in the series that I've owned. You can tell that it's lighter than its predecessors and the grey/gypsum color combination is better than the blue/white option available. One important thing to note: Most runners know that there should be a little bit of room between your big toe and the inside of the shoe. Based on this, I always order a size 10 in the Wave Nirvanas. With the Wave Nirvana 8, I ended up having to return it for a 10.5. DO yourself a favor and get a half size larger than you usually would for the Wave Nirvana.

Excellent shoe for someone with higher arches & prone to over pronation. I've used it now for a half marathon and a half Ironman triathlon. Has held up well on pavement and in training. Haven't regretted the purchase at all.
