I need a decent amount of support, and after coming back from a stress fracture I was concerned about which shoe to use. I run about 4x per week in these, with a 10+ mile run on the weekend. I find that with more flexible shoes, I keep injuring myself. With these, I am right where I'd like to be with training again - injury free.

Really wanted to like these...

I really really wanted to like these shoes - I love the Wave Inspire. BUT - there is something hard under the ball of my foot and it's not cushioning...very uncomfortable. Just won't even be able to get out the door in these so will return them and try a few other pairs. I am on the hunt for a replacement for the Pearl Izumi SyncroFuel XC which was discontinued (and their replacement for it is really lame)...the Wave Inspire is pretty much it, so far.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    I usually run in the Asics Kayano for long runs and Saucony Guide or Asics Cumulus for shorter runs. A friend suggested I try these and I'm glad I did. I have run 2 5 milers in them and they are perfection. Fit my feet like a glove, they are almost like wearing slippers. They have great cushioning but are also supportive. I only pronate on my left foot and can safely run in a neutral shoe for short distances but need stability for my longer runs. So far, these are perfect. I'm running an 8 miler in these next week. Looking forward to it
