This is a great running shoe, nice and lightweight. I like that the heel isnt hollow like some of the other Mizuno's and rocks cant get stuck in there!

This is the best trail runner I've ever owned. I live in Montana and run trails frequently, at least once a week, sometimes more. This shoe is very stable and durable. I didn't roll my ankle like I usually do wearing a road shoe on the trails. Grips great on rocks and roots even if they are a little wet. They dry quickly which also helps the foot/sock dry if you have to go through water. Very comfortable. My feet don't hurt and aren't sore after a run. I do not recommend this shoe for a daily trainer on roads. A little too stiff for that. This would also be a great shoe to hike in.

I wore the shoes in an off-road 1/2 marathon. I rarely run trails, and so I needed to find some shoes with more traction and grip than my road running shoes. Great Product- No Kidding- There were sections of the hilly course when I thought to myself, "I'm so glad I'm wearing these trail shoes." The grip made running up steep hills almost easy. I felt like I could dig into the dirt and climb. These shoes made a big contribution to my fun run! Good deal. Great traction.

LOVE these shoes. I wear the Wave Inspire for road running and these for trail running. They grip well on loose gravel both uphill and downhill. They have excellent support for my average-high but very flexible high arch and keep my over-pronation in check (and my achilies happy). The only minor issue I have with them is that they don't block out water well, but they're not really meant to do that. I would purchase them again in a heartbeat.

I love these shoes so much, I ordered another pair in the new color. They are very comfortable and the roomy toebox makes them that way. I basically wear them as casual walking shoes versus trail or road running. I usually wear size 8-1/2, but ordered size 9, which is a good fit for me. So I would suggest ordering 1/2 size up.

Dang, I SO wanted theses Mizunos to work!! They are really great colors - I always like cheerful shoes. But as a marathoner, I need shoes that fit perfectly and these did not pass the arch support test at all. Otherwise, the overall fit and springiness were great, and the tread would have been great for trails. If you have a low arch these may be the shoe for you. I actually bought an arch insert at the store to see if I could beef these guys up, but it didn't work. Does anyone know if Mizuno sells different inserts for their shoes? If so, I would re-order, these. As they are designed right now however, I had to return them. :-(
These are not for people with high arches. If that's not you, give these a try. I liked everything else about them.

I have big feet, high arches, and am 215lbs. Initially these shoes felt AWESOME! But it's been 4 months (I run ~8 miles a week) and now my feet ache horribly the day after, enough for me to not be able to run that day, much less feel like walking far. I realize I'm overweight but other mizuno's have been awesome under the same conditions, for much longer! I noticed this issue prior to the 3 months but lost track of time and was really hoping for the best:( The shoes look awesome but I feel like the arches don't hold up which make the lateral plantar portion of my feet ache. Perhaps my weight is a factor, perhaps it isn't. Overall, Mizuno's have done me good, this is only the 2nd out for ~6 pairs that I've been disappointed with.
