a week after purchase I found they were just too loose on me, my foot slid around on the foot bed, and the store did not have a half size down for me to try so I had to exchange them for another shoe.

This is a gorgeous shoe and it is the second pair of Wave Prophecy that I own. I call this my "going out sneaker" mostly because I am unable to wear them on many of my runs. Mizuno's feel fine for shorter runs, but anything over 10 miles start to feel narrow and tight at the forefront of the shoe.

Great to run in. Feel a little weird to just walk in. NIce and bouncy. Only had them 2 weeks but all good so far !

Purchased these after going through 8-10 pair of the first model and I am disappointed in the changes. The fabric is stiff and does not breathe like the old mesh and they don't feel near as cushioned. Overall, just nowhere near the comfort level of the original Prophecy. I'm holding out for the next version and hopefully Mizuno will do away with the changes.

I run about 35 miles per week on pavement and weigh about 125 pounds. I LOVE the Prophecy 1- best shoes EVER! The new 2's do not provide enough cushion in the forefoot. Mizuno 'broke' the Prophecy. I am very disappointed.

I have hallux limitus (big toe arthritis.) Running became very painful and doctor said no more distance. Well, the Mizuno Prophecy saved me! I have been running pain free in the original prophecy for over a year, completing multiple half marathons. (Hope to tackle a full this fall.) I attribute the success to the stiff rocker-like toe box. Foot stays in place and there is minimal pressure on the toes. I purchased the Prophecy 2 but unfortunately something was different. I had toe pain during and after my first run. They are going back. I immediately purchased the last original version RRS had in my size.

Went through five highly rated running shoe before I bought these. LOVE, LOVE these shoe. Great for road running or at the the gym. Highly recommend it.

I have two different color variations of the Prophecy 1 and have worn them for intensive walking programs this year and can't say enough good things aobut them. I got the 2's and I'm not sure if I got a defective pair or that the basic design has changed because they seemed completely uncushioned. I would think they are even less cushioned than stability shoes. In addition, the collar seems to be higher and hit on the malleoli, both feet. So, unfortunately, they are going back.

I have been running for 3.5 years now. I was going to a physical therapist for peraformis pain in my right side. He video taped my run and I was able to see how my right foot went in and this was causing the pain when running hills...etc. I have always run in Mizunos..tried others but gone back to Mizunos.. when I found these online I started wearing them and NO LONGER had ANY pain! Have been wearing the Prohecies for over a year now. This will be my third pair. I tell everyone how good they are..expensive but worth every penny! Especially if they can help conquer the running pain by getting my footing back on track! :) LOVE THEM!!! I will never run another half marathon in anything else! This year they have newer version... just basically color...wish they would come up with some better "girly" colors!

I average 30-40 miles a week and my old Mizuno Prophecy's had about 640 miles on them so I was so happy to hear they came out with a newer version. I don't notice a difference between the two models which to me is great because if something isn't broken it doesn't need to be fixed!! They give great traction and support especially on long runs. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny because they hold up so well. I can still use my old pair too if I choose too. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a durable shoe that goes the distance
