Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Evo Cursoris Running Shoe: I was torn between the Cursoris and Levitas, both of Mizunos new Evo shoes. I first purchased the Levitas (full disclosure, I liked the color better) but after wearing them for a few miles, I realized the roomy fit was not by design, they were too big. I returned to RR and my fit expert Cait was awesome! She explained that the Levitas does run a bit larger and suggested that I should actually be in the Cursoris. It still has the zero rise heel and lightweight feel but with a tad more cushioning than the Levitas, making it more practical for longer mileage. I've already noticed a change in my stride and strike (faster turn-over and more mid-foot) but they do take some adjustment. My calves have been sore but that is most likely due to me transitioning a bit too quickly. The good news is, I PR'd my 5k at 22:14 last weekend!

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Evo Cursoris Running Shoe: I bought this shoe because I was looking for a forefoot striking compatible shoe and other products just weren't doing it for me. Most shoes claim they are minimal shoes but either don't allow you to forefoot strike because the heel is too high or they aren't cushioned enough to be a shoe used for everyday running. This shoe is great. It pads the mid-foot and fore-foot really well and it is super comfortable to run in. I run 60-70 miles per week and use this shoe for about half my runs. They do start to wear relatively quickly but that is worth it for the comfort and being able to strike the ground the way my foot naturally strikes. I am naturally a fore-foot striker so if you are transitioning to this type of strike, probably ease into the shoes slowly.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Evo Cursoris Running Shoe: Says to buy true shoe size .. don't do it. Probably need to up 1/2 to 1 full size.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Evo Cursoris Running Shoe: I have tried many of the different zero drop shoes that are out there and these are so far the best. They have a unique cushioning system in the forefoot that allows for that natural running style while still feeling cushioned. They are really light and super comfortable. They are so comfortable I want to wear them around the house as house shoes but I will save them for my runs. Maybe I will get a second pair!

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Evo Cursoris Running Shoe: I use the Evo Cursoris for road race training workouts/repeats and gym going. I like to wear typical trainers mostly but this is great for my faster days or shorter runs (3-6 miles). I train for half marathons, marathons, 5K's and 10K's. I also find it the perfect style of shoe for the gym. I was skeptical at first being my first time wearing a zero drop shoe. As soon as I tried it on using the treadmill in store I felt fast and could concentrate on striking midfoot/forefoot easily. I was told with 12mm of cushioning in the forefoot and heel I would feel more cushion than expected/compared to other shoes in this style. They were right! Just enough protection :). I wouldn't advise using on trails due to its low profile. When I do get a chance to go to the gym, this style is perfect for lifting exercises with its low profile and light weight feel. MUST TRY! Plus they're super cute!

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Evo Cursoris Running Shoe: I was hesitant at first to give these a try but man, did I make a good choice! The associate suggested I try it as I am transitioning to a zero drop style running shoe and this one was unlike any of the others that I tried. It's very light but still has substantial cushion and support. It feels amazing underfoot, almost like a slipper that you can run in! I now want to try other Mizuno shoes to go along with my new Cursoris. Try it, you will love it!
