I have extremely wide feet and generally have trouble finding a stability shoe that fits. I have found that widths normally come in neutral shoes, so I have always had to buy a neutral shoe plus a custom insole, which can get expensive. I'm really glad Mizuno added the wide size (D) to this stability shoe - the Wave Inpire 9. The support in the footpad is great and I couldn't be happier with my shoes!

I purchased these shoes a week ago and put on 25 miles before wearing them for a half marathon yesterday. I typically get lots of toe blisters and other blisters on my feet when I run, with any shoe (including Brooks Trance and Asics Keauno). While I did get blisters yesterday, they were minimal considering the hot day. If these shoes hold up long term, I'll be getting another pair. I'm a mild pronator and need some stability/support and I really appreciate the meshy top of the shoe (helps foot stay cool) and how light the shoe is. A few of my running friends wear this brand of shoe and noted that the shoes wear out faster than other brands. It's too soon for me to know, but it's a chance I'll take for the comfort and reasonable price given the technology of the shoe. I'm between sizes so I went with the larger size based on how these fit.

Very disappointed when I got these shoes. I've always bought 7.5D in my running shoes. These seem very short. It may be that the toe box is extremely narrow. Will be returning these. Disappointed that previous reviews didn't address this.

Fantastic shoe. I needed a lightweight shoe that provided some stability to control my over pronation and would fit my Superfeet orthotic without being super bulky. Asics and Saucony were alright, but my foot shifted side to side in the toe box (even with the orthotic in)-- apparently I have a narrower foot. These Mizunos fit like a glove! I wore out my Mizuno Elixirs and now with plantar fasciitis, I needed more stability and an orthotic. Both my feet and I are happy! (The neon blue, green and pink are great too!)

Love these shoes!!! I have been looking for lightweight, wide width, stability shoes and I've found them! Just went on an 8-mile run. Feet felt great. These may be my new faves!

Purchased these as a change from my Brooks Adrenaline, but have to return, as after 10 minutes running on the treadmill my feet were burning. They felt a bit snug initially out of the box, but I thought they might loosen up after a few workouts. These are going back!

Great shoes! So glad I went back to Mizunos Inspire! Tried Asics GT2000 and noosa and never had all stability and support this shoe has. Nice colors, I receive tons of compliments. Roomy for toes, achiles cushioning, my feet feel happy in the running, walking and in the gym for body combat. Thanks Mizuno!

I usually buy new tennis shoes and hate them the following week...probably because I pick them myself! The nice people at the Roadrunner in Carlsbad, CA helped fit myself and my husband with custom insoles and great shoes! Found out I definitely have a high arch, that I overpronate, that my feet are WIDE, among other things. I have stayed away from stability shoes because I hate how thick the material is around the ankle and in the tongue. I felt like my ankles and feet were being smothered! This particular Mizuno Wave Inspire is a perfect fit! The only thick portion is right at the back of my heel and feels like support rather than suffocation! I wear these shoes every morning to workout and find myself putting them back on after my shower often because they are the most comfortable shoe I own now! Another perk is that they are cute!

Really like the shoe - much less knee pain. This particular version feels narrow - I normally wear an AA shoe, but still very comfortable. Just had to loosen the laces way more than any shoe I've had prior.

I am an avid athlete and run 3-4 times a week. These running shoes are the best ones I have bought yet. They are super comfortable, supportive, light weight, and above all super stylish. I have only been running in them for a month so I hope they continue to provide the support but for now I am psyched about them!! :)

I love Mizuno, they produced many quality sport goods including Golf club that I am still using ( 10 yrs old but technology of it still valid). I am glad that I did not have to get it from Japan, they are now available in US.
This pair of shoes is excellent; I use it for 3, 4 miles walking daily, play badminton, running, gym workouts. I feel its stability and support as it meant for with its Double Fan Wave™ technology. Very light weight and wide toe box which I need it to fit my wide feet. I receive many compliments for its colourful and fun look. Mizuno shoes just fit me perfectly. They are other good quality of shoes that I wore previously but they did not fit me that well. I know everybody is different, but Mizuno is definitely worth giving it a try.
Oh yes, Mizuno shoes are usually half size smaller than most of other brand of shoes. I wear 8.5 wide, for Mizuno I got 9 Wide.

I work out a minimum of 5 days a week for an hour minimum each time. 45 of that is on a tread or elliptical.
I have hallux valgus, fascitis in my arches and arthritis in my big toe and inside foot. By the time I go to bed my feet are in such pain.

Wearing these shoes have cut the pain by 75%. My feet feel so good in fact that I put them on when I get up, and take them off at bed. My feet are not allowed to pronate, and don't feel like I'm grinding the bones in my feet.

I will be buying two more pairs for in the house and at work. On my limited income it speaks volumes for how much I love my Mizunos.

I switched from Asics Kayano and Saucony Pro grid Guide to this shoe. Very comfortable, no pain at all when I run and I barely can feel the road. I have a slight opronantion on one foot and these are the perfect shoe for that. My feet were not sore afterwards either - longest run so far is 11 miles with no blisters or hot sapots. The ankle cushioning feels tight at first, but did not notice it when I ran. I do not like the colors - makes me feel like a smurf!!

I walk 3 miles a day. These shoes are great for that distance. I also use them for casual wear. This is the 3rd pair I have gotten and each fits perfectly.

Love the style and look of this shoe! My feet stay comfortable temp when running because there is good air flow. Nice and light! Great for my high arches. No more hip pain with the shoedog inserts.
