I've used many brands before and I can honestly say the Prophecy 3/4 are my favorite, so far. The only thing I didn't like about the P3 was that the top fabric wasn't durable enough. I hope the P4s can last longer. But still my favorite shoe for running! PLEASE, make the fabric more durable.

The Prophecy 4's fit quite differently from the 2's.

Fit: The toe box is much smaller and the shoe is shorter. I wear at 7.5B in street shoes and went through eight pair of the Prophecy 2's in size 8. I am almost 400 miles into my first pair of 4's and probably should have purchased the 8.5's. Overall I would shay the 4 is a slightly tighter shoe, length and width. This works great for me as my feet are slightly on the narrow side.

Support: I am a 52 year old, neutral runner with extremely high arches. I need supportive cushion under my foot and the Prophecy 2 was a really good shoe for me. My inserts supported my arch well and the 2 provided good support and a fair amount of cushion. I feel that the 4 is a softer shoe, offering less support and less cushion.

To illustrate my last statement, my last two pair of Prophecy 2's both have nearly 500 miles on them and are more supportive and cushioned than the 4 out of the box.

I purchased the Mizuno Prophecy for specific promoted and advertised features which the 4 no longer has. I never flinched at the price of the 2's because they delivered what was promised. The 4's do not deliver and are definitely not worth the price.

I bought these shoes a couple of weeks ago. I jog 4 mile and 8 mile runs on Tennessee River. I have been jogging in Asics. Love the engineering of the shoe, the design. Wears well. It is an attractive shoe coupled with the capabilites of stability, cushioning and durability for serious joggers and/or runners. I would recommend this shoe. It is rare to find an attractive shoe design that has a professional wear!

I've worn this pair for almost 2 years now. They still look brand new and feel awesome. I love love love them!

Very comfortable sneakers, but already have holes .

I have worn Mizuno running shoes for 6 years now.. There is nothing finer under my foot than the wave prophecy 4.. I have worn the prophecy 2,3 and now 4. Running is my passion.. I run 6 miles every day.. Love these shoes. Worth every penny

I always look for beautiful colors when I am looking for running shoes as well as comfort. I do not see the colors for this shoe that I got but I can say that I am very pleased. I am training for my first half marathon, I run on average 4-5 miles daily about 5 days a week, with a longer run within those 5 days, about 6-8 miles. I got the teal and blue and my shoes have pink in them too. So pretty and comfy. Very supportive. They do run a little small I wear an 8.5-9 normally and had to go up to 9.5.

I have worn mizunos for years....the nirvana, which is no longer made. I bought the prophecy....have had them less than year and have a whole in the fabric at the toe!! I recommend them, but for the cost.....a whole!!

I am a former cross country athlete and now coach and road racer and I have been dedicated to Mizuno for about 4 years now (9 pairs total). I have tried EVERY brand! While I did find some shoes with other companies that I liked alright.. It was just a matter of time before my shin splits flared up. With Mizuno, not only did my shins heal, I haven't had an issue for years. It is unbelievable! I have turned so many people to Mizuno with the same relief from knee pain, shin pain, hip pain, you name it! The prophecy in my opinion is the best shoe that Mizuno makes and they are dedicated to making it even better with every model. I wore the 3's first which I loved (except for the digging shoe lace border) and was so excited for the 4's and for good reason because that run so nicely!! Just perfect. MY ONLY complaint is that the tread on it leaves just small enough gaps to pick up little pebbles and rocks even off the road so I will be running and all the sudden I will hear scratching noises on the concrete and my foot will feel like princess and the pea from a tiny rock. So I have to stop and grab a stick to try and get the small rock out of my shoe. Very annoying! I love everything about this shoe except for the tread!

I had the Prophecy 2 and loved those. The 3 did not get great reviews, so I held out for these. Even better then the 2.

Bought these a few weeks ago to replace my Wave Rider 18s that failed after only 3 months of easy wear. The Wave Prophecy is WELL worth the money! I am currently training for a half marathon & long runs have been a breeze with these! Love the support, light weight feel & all around sleek look. Great shoe!

I am so impressed with my Mizuno 4 than any other shoe I have ever purchased. So impressed I bought all 3 colors. I love the springy light cloud like feeling. The relieve a great amount of joint pressure in my knees. I have metal and screws in my ankle from a previous accident and OMG they give me so much ankle support. I can't say enough about these shoes. I love them. I challenge you all to find a better shoe. My guess, you will not find one.

I have all the Prophecy shoes, but was disappointed in the 3's. They did a great job with the 4's. They are very comfortable and as usual they feel great to run in.

I stopped wearing Mizunos at the last version of these shoes and was hoping that the 4s would be different. Yes, they seem to have better cushion, but the toe box seemed less roomy, i.e. the shoes seemed tight with summer weight socks so would have been unwearable in colder temps. The deal breaker, however, was the fact that they seemed to be too bulky and wide at the mid-foot, a problem I usually don't have with Mizunos. I have narrow feet with high arches and no matter what variations of lacing I tried I was unable to keep the shoes rom making me look like I had fat feet. For this price, they had to be perfect right out of the box.

I just bought shoe and it is by far the most comfortable running shoe I have ever worn! The fit is true to size and it feels like I'm running on clouds! I love this shoe!

I have been dealing with all sort of ailments in the last year and the Wave Prophecy has completely changed my life! Wonderful cushioning, incredible shock absorbtion, I managed to get rid of my aches in two weeks (I don't even go to my chiropractor anymore!). I had an older model a few years back, but the sizing was off and it was too small for me (I usually have plenty of room in a size 8 shoe). It was kind of a shame to spend this sort of money on a shoe that I could only wear a couple months before my toenails started turning black!!! Luckily, changes have been made, the shoe fits true to size, there is more room in the toe box and honestly, I have zero complaints about the design of this awesome sneaker. It is on the expensive side, but I truly believe that the technology and comfort associated with this shoe model are worth to pay for.

These shoes are great for those who need extra cushioning for running without feeling weighed down. These shoes are well-made and offer the support I need.

I bought the Prophecy 4 after Intried replacing my Wave Elixir 8 with the Sayonara 2. I suffer from plantar fascitis and the pain was terrible with such a minimalist shoe. Once i put on the Prophecy 4, I have not felt pain on ansingle run. On the downside, I have run with the Prophecy 4 on wet roads on 2-3 occassions and the grip is terrible and the sole feels very slippery. I would love for an Elixir comeback.....BEST traction I have ever felt. If you can't bring back the Elixir, then you shouldconsider the Elixir sole on the Prophecy's.

So comfortable! A friend recommended that I buy the Wave Prophecy 3, but after trying it on in the store, it felt so flimsy, like it would rip apart. I tried on the 4 and was so happy--I felt like my feet were inside of little clouds :) So comfortable, really great support, and lots of room in the toe and heel. I tried other Mizuno shoes before (the Enigma, I believe) and it was horribly painful for my not-so-narrow (at all) feet. The Prophecy 4 is great for wider feet! Also, the design is gorgeous! I bought them in the black/pink/teal and I love it!!

I am impressed with this shoe. I also have the Tailwind, and I love them equally. The support, the cushioning, the fit, all are perfect. I couldn't have custom designed shoes that are more comfortable to run in. I will always purchase Mezuno products in the future.

I was having major issues with both shin splints and lower back pain when working out at my gym, Orange Theory Fitness. My trainer suggested I go to Road Runner sports. I love this shoe and wouldn't even have known about it if I hadn't used Shoe Dog at the store in Sterling, VA (Thank you Jaxx !!!). After my first couple of training sessions since using the new shoes, the custom insoles and compression stockings, I can say that I am pain free. Soooo happy that I can now complete a full workout !!!!

I am huge fan of the Prophecy 1 & 2 and was extremely disappointed with the 3. Well, my faith in Mizuno has been restored! I got the Prophecy 4 and absolutely love it! There are some subtle differences from the 2, but overall, the shoe is fantastic. It feels lighter and the sole seems slightly softer than the 2, but it's barely noticeable (you'd really have to pay attention to notice it). The toebox is a little roomier (unlike the 3). I've only ran 5K distances in them so far, and am anxious to try them on a 6 mile run. Thanks, Mizuno!!
