Comments about Womens Merrell Pace Glove Trail Running Shoe: These were my first pair of barefoot shoes & they're pretty fantastic. They take some getting used to & right now I'm just wearing them around the house during the day, yardwork & walking the dogs in them. Eventually I'd like to wear them on trail runs. I definitely notice my calves are sore after a day in them. They mold to your feet perfectly after 2-3 wearings and they are so comfortable & lightweight. I generally run between a size 9-9.5 and I got a 9. They're maybe a little short when I wear socks with them but perfect if I'm barefoot. Work best with a really thin sock or Injinji toe socks. I think if I ordered again I'd go with a 9.5 for running in them.

Comments about Womens Merrell Pace Glove Trail Running Shoe: I wear an 8 or 8.5, and the 8.5 fits fine. Ran in these for the first time yesterday...I tried them on a paved road, on grass, and on gravel. I love the feel! Traction is good, and they feel supportive, although there is virtually no padding. I was surprised that they were comfortable on the gravel! They are incredibly light. After 35 years of being a heel-strike runner, I'm struggling with the barefoot stride, but I'm going to keep working at it. I have bunions and overpronation issues, and use orthotics in my regular shoes. I often experience forefoot pain after running, too, and had been buying running shoes with extra padding. No pain with these shoes after yesterdays run. :)

Comments about Womens Merrell Pace Glove Trail Running Shoe: I have very flat feet and it's difficult to find comfortable shoes. These shoes felt as comfortable as slippers the second I put them on. I usually wear a 9.5 but took a 10 in this model. They are very light weight, so hopefully they will last. The only downside is that they will take on water quickly, due to the low profile sole and mesh upper, but they should be easy to wash and dry.

Comments about Womens Merrell Pace Glove Trail Running Shoe: I've never had so many people comment on my shoes! Everyone wants a pair and I want more. I am wearing them all day, walking and lightly jogging in them to strengthen my legs and ankles. I've only jogged on the trails, and love them there. They do hug my foot like a glove. They are not cushiony nor supportive by design, though the way they hug my foot feels supportive I just love them.

Comments about Womens Merrell Pace Glove Trail Running Shoe: I bought these shoes because I wanted something super light for travelling. I didn't realize they were a part of the whole "barefoot" movement, and when I did, I had my doubts. No longer! They are indeed super light, but I never thought a pair of shoes, especially ones so minimalist, could be so comfortable. They fit like gloves (duh, considering the name) and whether I'm walking around town or out on the trail, I love the feeling of stability I get knowing every contour of the ground. It's even better than going barefoot because I don't have to worry about stepping on a tack or sharp rock: I can just go. I used to be a climber, and these remind me a lot of why I loved my climbing shoes -- I could feel ever contour of the rock I was climbing and in the same way, I feel safer and more sure-footed no matter what the terrain.

Comments about Womens Merrell Pace Glove Trail Running Shoe: This is a great minimalist shoe. It is very light, allows for natural foot movement while still protecting the bottom of your feet. I wear them while running on the road and on the trail.

Comments about Womens Merrell Pace Glove Trail Running Shoe: I'm purchasing my second pair of Pace Gloves. I was using a pair of 5 fingers alternating with my regular full-support style running shoes, but thought the "fingers" were rather overkill, a hassle to put on, and something I wasn't comfortable with aesthetically- important to me since I tend to end my run and walk straight into the market/coffee shop/bank, etc. I spent a bit of time researching reviews and came up with these- they are GREAT- all the benefit of a minimalist shoe, none of the hassle :-) The thin soles and fitted body still force you to engage all the muscles you do in the 5 finger model.

Comments about Womens Merrell Pace Glove Trail Running Shoe: I love these shoes. I've run them through rocky trails, streams, in rain, clear weather, cold, hot. I was surprised that I didn't need the cushioning of my usual (trail)running shoes. Doing fine with them.
