These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had, I wore them all over Europe. My feet a a little wide, so they fit well. The shoes run a little big. The felt is wool (waterproof). If wool bothers you, wear socks.

I bought these thinking they would be comfortable on vacation, but they were not. The felt trim is blister- inducing and it doesn't get better with time.

I ordered a 7.5 and it was much too big. This seemed wide to me. Did not look like I expected.
