Comments about Mens Merrell Moab Ventilator Mid Hiking Shoe: This is one of the best hiker shoes I think. Very comfy, durable and stable. The shoe is good on mixed terrain and/or on a usually hike-trail.

Comments about Mens Merrell Moab Ventilator Mid Hiking Shoe: I bought these for my husband. He commented that they are the best hiking shoe he has ever worn right out of the box. He loves hiking in the dry, rocky west (rock slides, cacti populated terrain and steep hills). The first pair lasted approximately 1 1/2 year but he is rough on his shoes and they are not leather so it was no surprise when the fabric began to show wear and one of the rubber traction pieces became loose.

Having had good experiences with Merrell shoes, I expected that their boots would be equally comfortable and they are. Though I have only done shorter day hikes with the boots thus far, I am pleased that there was no real break in time. The boots fit well and provide the support and comfort I was looking for.
