Comments about Mens Merrell Allout Blaze Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe: One of the most comfortable hiking shoes I've tried....at least for the first ten miles. Great room in the toes without the rest of the shoe feeling too wide. Flexible and comfortable. The tragic flaw? They have a sewn in insole and that's the problem. The left boot had a gap with a ridge between the edge of the insole and side of the boot that started to rub my toes. I exchanged them for another pair. This time the right shoe had the same ridge. Didn't even wear them and I'm sending back. Too bad....otherwise these would have been 5-star!
