Both are great shoes, well, some may select ST33 998, but i tell you, never fight against original 998. Also, RRS, a great service provider!

Fit was different for the same size, 10D. Caused cuts on outer feet. Too tight at the top of the foot. This is the first bad experience that I have had with NB shoes in 20+ years.

The toe box is narrow and gave me blisters after just 4 miles of walking. I wanted to buy the New Balance 580 but it was not available. That was a great shoe and it even cost less!
