Comments about Womens New Balance 872 Trail Running Shoe:

I have to like this shoe. It's support and weightlessness give and interesting foot feel. Don't think I would buy another shoe for a woman, but I liked the look, and it's handling all the stress I have put on it.

Comments about Womens New Balance 872 Trail Running Shoe:

These shoes are garbage - by the 3rd time I wore them on a standard 8km trail run, the stitching was coming undone near the toe box, and the grommets for the fancy n-lock system came out of their places. I usually wear Mizuno shoes, but I thought I'd give these a go for trail running - not a good choice.

Comments about Womens New Balance 872 Trail Running Shoe:

Didn't like this, at all! Love most NB shoes. Have a high arch, the shoe was not that snug for arch support, otherwise fit well, but lacked cushioning that made my feet hurt from hiking up a dirt/gravel hill. Not enough cushioning in the front of the shoe. Returned them.

Comments about Womens New Balance 872 Trail Running Shoe:

This is an excellent shoe for road or trail, providing good cushioning and fit. The heel cushion is soft, and the forefoot is somewhat firmer, combining with the protection plate to provide an insulated ride. The forefoot fit offers plenty of room, while the straps around the heel allowed me to pull the collar tight get a secure fit even with the loose forefoot. Flexibility is good, and the ride is nice and smooth. Traction seemed fine, though I didn't attempt anything particularly hardcore.
