Light and stable for indoor running. I have another shoe for outdoor running, due to many ankle sprains, but running in this shoe is like floating on a cloud. I just wish it came in 4E because of problems with a huge bunion that seems to get worse with age. Great show!

As a loyal Asics guy, I was a little apprehensive about trying a new shoe/brand. I got the 902 after wearning them for 5 minutes in the store (no treadmill). I went up to the track and did mile repeats in 5:50 and 5:55, which is quick for me. Then today, on my normal 3-mile course I ran a 20:26 (again, quick for me). I think I'll be hanging on to these shoes! For those of you concerned about the color, all I can say is Don't be afraid to stand out!

I'm sure these are great shoes for what they are for, which is performance. I used them once after years with regular New Balance trainers (767, 765) and got sore calves and hips two miles into a run. They have much less padding and stability than the regular shoes. I had planned to use them just for races but destroying my legs for the sake of a few less ounces and bulk wasn't a viable option.

Great shoe. Great durability for me as well - I am tall and 200lbs and got more than my usual mileage out of these - ordering 2nd pair. Hated the 901s, these are totally different. Good for mid-forefoot strikers due to relatively low profile. Don't know about the stability feature - I usually wear neutral, so it least its not obtrusively stable.

Terrific alternative to Asics DS Trainers, nice firm ride, no probs with 3 hour runs. This shoe will be around for a while! Note to Oregon Runner and Pjl, us conservative guys in Park City love the orange color (white is great on a family car), thanks NB!

Excellent shoe! I normally run with my nike free 5.0 v3, but I bought these for tempo runs. They feel really good. I would highly recommend these shoes.

Love this shoe - Have run in Asics DS Trainer for years until they messed up with the DS Trainer 12. Had to find a different shoe and boy does this fit the bill. Highly recommend it; fits like a glove, pliable, and light weight. New Balance gained a customer... would like a choice of a different color than orange. Enjoy...

Tried them on for a test treadmill run at the store and they felt great. Very lightweight and responsive. But c'mon New Balance, what's with the orange ! Note to New balance execs: You would sell a lot more of these shoes if you had another color choice or two.

It has been a while since I purchased NB running shoes. This past week I brought 2 pairs of the 902 running shoes at 75% off. What a steal. I have used them twice on the road and treadmill with excellent results. They are lightweight, supportive, and responsive. For the price that I paid, I am very happy with the 902 model, and hope NB only makes minor changes next year (maybe the color).

This is the best running shoe I have ever had. They feel like part of my foot. I run 35 to 50 miles a week and have worn the shoes in a marathon. It was the first time I was able to finish a marathon without a blister.

This shoe is a perfect lightweight trainer for wide foot folks like me. Comfort right out of the box. the 900 was OK and the 901 not so good, but NB hits a grand slam with the 902. Yup, NB keeps the crazy color scheme for the 90X series. I hope they don't try to "improve" it with a 903. This one is just right, no odd blister causing buldges or clunky sounds. THE BEST

This is a great shoe for threshold and tempo workouts. Ran a 6 mile tempo in these shoes right out of the box. They are very light and feel great!
Definitely got a bounce to them, and I am loving the orange color.

Great shoe. I'm a 185# size 9 EEEE with a high arch, so I was worried about only having a EE. But they fit wider than they list and were very comfortable right out of the box. I've run hilly trails and roads and they do everything well. I do wish a more subdued color was available. Next year.

The 901s treated me well so I figured that I'd try the 902s. They're light and roomy, but the lacing is a drawback if you're a tight lacer. As you'll notice by the picture it's all speed-lacing except for the top hole. I ripped one of the speed-lace eyelets right out of the sneaker after only two weeks use, and had to return the sneakers.
