As someone who was torn between a stability shoe and a neutral shoe, I've been incredibly pleased with the 882. I was a Mizuno loyalist before, but these shoes are so comfortable that I will never go back. Not in love with the color scheme here (so much white--- mine are a mess all the time) but t...

I have a narrow foot and very high arches and insteps. I love the SL-2 last because it does not cut in on my toes which are pretty much squared off. When I first tried them with the stock insoles, I could feel every pebble and ridge on my run. I replaced them with a really cushioned New Balance ins...

I have worn this series since it was 878! Loved the shoe until now. Dont know what New Balance changed - or why????, but I cant wear the 882. After years of running injury free, I had my first injury problems once I laced up in the 882's. I've switched to Saucony Pro Grid. Dont like them as wel...

Loved these shoes! I have worn this series in the past and still love them and find them very cushy. I have a wide foot and wear orthotics and this shoe satisfies both those needs having a D-width with an NB:SL-2 wide fit and the orthotic fit perfectly in. I will continue to buy these until NB mes...

Not nearly as cushioned as the 881. Have worn the entire 'series' and loved them till now. I felt the road with every step in the 882 Dissappointed. Have to find something new since the 881 cannot be found. First foot injury I ever had in these--little high arch support; broke 2 metatarsals. Bew...

My last four shoes have been NB and I am currently wearing the 882(replaced my pair of 1122 and 881) and this series is great for my high arches, wide feet and narrow heel (and light weight >100lbs). It is NOT good for my supination. I have 166 miles on these currently and just bought them in Januar...

If you've liked the 880 and 881 models, be warned that the D width 882 isn't nearly as wide as those were, either in the toe or across the widest part of the foot. I'd been very happy with the two earlier models, but I can't wear the 882 at all.

I bought these based on my "high arch" profile. There is very little arch support in these shoes which I beleieve led to my foot injury. I guess they are fine otherwise, but wouldn't recommend these for anyone with high arches.

this is an incredibly well-made running shoe. foot stays secure, while not feeling too tightly constricted. and, the cushioning is SUPERB. additionally, a wonderfully smooth transition from heel to foot. great job, new balance!!!!
