Found the New Balance 763 to be a better and more economical choice

On my 2nd pair and they've been perfect right out of the box! I'm 6'3", 205 lbs. and they've seen me through pre-NYC marathon training and countless 5K/5Mi runs without any blisters, etc. I've run Asics for 25+ years and wasn't happy with my last pair - may never go back!

Very comfortable and light shoe. I use it for racing. Not the most supportive shoe, but then again I usually run in motion control shoes, so it is probably fine for most runners. I'm 5'll" about 165 pounds, flat feet.

Don't order these shoes unless you are a light weight runner. Even then you may feel a lack of forefoot cushioning. I feel that both the Brooks Adreniline and the Asics 2130 have better cushion.

Comfortable out of the box and great on my first run. But after six miles, the narrow heel gave me bad blisters on the inside of both feet. Felt like I had a pebble stuck in my shoe.

This shoe fits great especially around the midfoot area. Cushioning is consistently decent throughout the shoe and it make you want to run that extra mile.

Great fit and comfort with 768s ( improvement over the 767s ). Also has very nice balance between cushioning and stability. Have not noticed any issues with toebox concerns that have been noted. Have not experienced any pain and have had very comfortable runs. Great shoe (one of the best I have tried in a long while) and looking forward in getting another pair soon. Highly recommended.

I used to run in the Lightweights (like the 826) but because of a few injuries, I decided to go with a stability shoe. The 768 felt good in the cushion and stability areas. But of course it's a much heavier shoe than I was used to. But it still felt good and overall I am pleased. But I must say, I purchased my pair in January and it's now June and i just completed 400 miles in the shoe. And that's it. This shoe has started to "break-down" after 400 miles/6 months.

I've run in 3 prs of 767s and loved them-was concerned about reviews on this-didn't need to be. Yes,its more cushioned in the forefoot and the toebox isn't quite as wide, but this shoe runs fantastically. The 1st run took some adjusting but from then on its been super. A great cushioned stability shoe- works at many paces.

Terrible shoe. Been using this series for years (765, 766, 767) and this shoe fits smaller, the toe box is cramped and it's way too soft. Save your money and look at other models.

Long time 767 user. Bought 2 of the replacement 768's. No the 768 do not fit the same.

Way too soft for me. They make my feet hurt even just standing in them. The shoe flexes right at the arch. This shoe is an invitation for pf.

These are my favorite new balance shoes yet. They feel light and very comfortable and will definitely be getting them again when this pair wears out.

These are my new favorite New Balance. I was running in last year's 1061 but never felt comfortable in them. The toe box was a bit too spacious. These are the opposite as they have a tighter toe box - hugs the feet in a good way. I would definitely order them again.

I tried these on for a run and was pleasently surprised. Feel like the old 763; great cushion, more toebox room (always find that most NB shoes, with the SL1 last don't have enough room for the big toe),with some support but the post is very nice as you don't feel it abruptly like you do in many stability shoes. The midsole is thicker and it feels much more cushioned than the 767. Although some of the forefoot rubber was removed to increase flexibility, the slightly longer post gives gentle support as you reach toe off. Very well done!

I've been a 767 wearer for a long time and was really upset when I heard my shoe wasn't available anymore. I went ahead and ordered the next verision hoping it was going to be the same. To my surprise it was better! I probably have only run 60 miles on this shoe but already it's my new favorite! Way to go New Balance!
