I bought this shoe to replace NB 766 and they are not at all the same shoe. I am very disappointed in these shoes. The heel is very narrow and they have caused me to have pains in my heel after running. Also, the toe box is too narrow. I cannot wear these shoes to run in.

Really dissapointed in this NB version - first time ever! The 768 ran really short and the toe box was not roomy as described. I had bought to replace NB Model 766 which had the SL-2 fit. They are not the same shoe!! I wore them twice and missed the chance to exchange them in 60 days so I am out $$$.. Live & learn! They are going in the Goodwill bag so at least someone else can use them!!!

I have had several pair of Asics & the last upgrade gave me blister so I tried New Balanace again after 20+ years. So far so good, they are breaking down faster, but no blisters & no shin splints. Toe box is roomy & the laces stay tied.

Switched from Asics because these were recommended for Mortons...they are roomy in the toe area BUT they are heavy and awkard. I cant seem to get a decent run with these.

Bought these 2 months ago & only have about 150 miles on them - they are breaking down FAST -the outer sole is completely worn down. The last two weeks have brought blisters & pain on long runs & I have never liked how heavy & awkward they feel. Not thrilled that I paid so much to have to replace them so quickly.

you can always depend on new balance. i've worn the 760 series for years, sprinkling in a few asics and nikes here and there, but new balance is the most dependable for toe box room, cushioning, and support. i'll never stray...
