After reading the reviews here, I purchased a pair of these shoes. I work out 7 days a week doing high impact aerobics. I haven't experienced any problems with this shoe at all. I love them so much that I purchased a 2nd pair. Highly recommended.

I love this shoe! I've been using this model for years & it gives great support for stepping, kickboxing & weight training. Only con is the style - glad to see they've updated (slightly) w/the 1010, which i just ordered.

I love these shoes. I work out 7 days a week and was having a lot of foot problems. These shoes alleviated a lot of pain for me. They are great for workouts with high impact aerobics.

This shoe is probably one of the most poorly-made shoe that I've used. I purchased my first pair of 1009s a couple of months ago. I workout 5 days a week. Within 2 weeks, the dark blue shoestring eyelets started to tear. I took the shoes back to the store and they gave me another pair. 3 weeks later the eyelets on the new pair began to fail.
Before now,I would always buy NB shoes. Not this one. It's awful and for the price, it's the most shoddy piece of athletic equipment I've ever seen.
***AVOID**** this shoe

I am an overweight, flat footed woman looking to start exercising again and was seeking a shoe that would provide ample support for shins, ankles and knees. This shoe did not work for me. It was very heavy on my feet, and it did not provide any support. My knee and ankle issues got worse after working out in this shoe. I returned them.
