Boy, it's funny to read all those reviewers who find the 903 too wide in the forefoot, at least in comparison with the 902. I tfound the 902 upper kind of stiff, and much prefer the 903. Actually, if you are sliding around in this shoe, then I think that you are the wrong kind of runner for a ligh...

Agree with all reports that 902 is much better shoe. 903 is sloppy and doesn't track well with way too much toe. How did this shoe get editors choice

Size down 1/2 size or purchase "true to size" and you'll be fine. Normally wear the DS Trainer but prefer the lateral release afforded by the 903's asymmetric footbridge. I find them to be softer and more flexible than the DS Trainer as well. The upper fits nicer and I love the padded Lightning D...

I love this shoe. I am 5'10, 155 lbs and slightly overpronate. I had plantar fasciitis and achilies tendinitis. Since purchasing this shoe, both symptoms have started to get better. I use it for track work and tempo runs.

I've had Nike, Newton, and Saucony.
These are by far the best fit and
comfort. I'm a fore-foot striker,
need a wide box, and 170 lbs.

Horrible update on 902. I loved the 902 and the 903 is too sloppy in the front. Maybe try 1/2 size smaller. The fit cannot be dialed in and too much sliding.

These are good, lightweight stability shoes. They are long and very roomy in the toe box so you may need to adjust sizing.

I bought a pair a week before an 8k up hill run and knocked off 8 minutes from last year's time. Superb fit and grip in the wet though the colour did get on my socks when it rained (they sell the red and white version in Asia). My sis bought a pair too after her Adidas gave her shin splints. No comp...

Owned 6 pairs of 902's and am really disappointed in the 903. This shoe is way too wide in the front. My foot slides around and the shoe slaps when it hits the ground. Bring back the 902!!!

The shoe is almost as supportive as the 902 but lighter. If people don't like the fit - as other reviewers have stated - they should not knock the shoe. It runs wide that's all. It is great marathon shoe.

Even thoug i had never wore the 902's, i think that this shoes is great. i've being doing my track works with the Nike's Free 5.0 and i can tell you that this baby is far away better than those. Light, great comfort, better cushioning... and the laces.. just N-Lock! Simply the best!

I went thru 2 pair of the 902's -loved them-best shoe for me -ever! The 903 is a terribly disappointing update. I have a wide foot and my forefoot swims in this shoe. It feels sloppy on the road. These do not have the tailored, fleet feel of the 902"s-not at all. Very disappointed.

Absolutely love the shoe. I'd buy another pair, but I don't want two pairs of the same yellow shoes. NB should consider making these in various colors.

The 902 was the best shoe I've ever owned. The 903 is the WORST shoe I've ever owned. The sizing is different and you cannot lock down the forefoot and midfoot like you could with the 902 so everytime I run in them I'm "slapping" the ground. New Balance screwed this one up for me. Saucony is kee...

The forefoot is a little boxy -- Doesn't quite hug the foot the way the 902 does. Lower-profile and lighter than 902. Excellent for track workouts.

The NB 903 is a very comfortable, lightweight running shoe that provides plenty of cushioning and stability. It is one of the most versatile shoes I have ever owned. The technologies employed in this shoe are practical and efficient, not overwhelming or gimmicky at all. For instance, the laces are s...

Definitely prefer the 902 over the 903. While the midsole is the same, the fit is completely different. Does not hug the forefoot and midfoot the same as the 902's did.
