Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe:

I was having trouble w/ achilles pain. My personal trainer said I needed new shoes specific for my foot and directed me to the "Shoe Dog" link. These did the trick. I'm pain free. I love all New Balance but these specific shoes changed everything for me.

Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe:

After a severe calf injury and 8 weeks of PT, I decided I needed to try a new shoe. Went to the local running store, tried 9 different pair and came up with this. Of course went home and bought it on RRS! Have not had any further calf problems, ran a PR and qualified for Boston! I love them! Also has enough room in toe box for my nagging bunion.

Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe:

The "new improved" heel design in these has given me plantar fasciitis. The guy at our local running store said he's heard this complaint before. Please bring back the 768---they took me through 5 marathons with no problems!

Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe:

What was New Balance thinking? I've been running on the 768 for about two years with no issues. I and had finally run out of my 768 shoe stash, so I tried the update 769's. Whatever they did to the heel is BAD - my arches are pulling when I run now. I definitely gave these a chance, 60+ miles in ten days, but I can't keep running in them because it's going to lead to an injury for certain. Thanks New Balance for leaving me SOL for my upcoming 20 miler and subsequent marathon!

Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe:

As a new runner, I wasn't convinced that shoes made a difference at all - but after training in a modest pair of shoes and then being directed to these 769's I am a true believer. Today for the first time in years I ran 5 miles without a break and could have gone for many, many more. Running in these feels like wearing the softest, cushiest and most supportive pillows on my feet. The traction is amazing as well. Go for it!
