I love the 769's lighter weight and improved cushioning. A definite improvement over the 768. However, I was very disappointed that the toe box was narrowed. This was one of the primary reasons for my selection of this series show to begin with. Go back to the wider toe box. If not, it's time to move on.

The last on the 769 has a substantially narrower toe box. I always bought these shoes because of the wide toe box. Have to try something else.

i liked the shoe. i have mainly run in asics 2000 series shoes or staability saucony shoes like the shadow or omni. this is first new balance. they show to size up 1/2 size but i found that to be too short and just sent back for a full size larger. is this typical for this shoe or for new balance in general. will other new balance require an additional 1/2 size?

Fits very good. Gotta love being able to get different widths. Have liked the pair I have so much now I am about to order at least one more pair.

Awesome fit and amazing support. Just as good if not better than Asics Kayano 15 and 2140. Great rebound and lightweight! My favorite shoe yet!

These shoes didn't fit well out of the box but after a few 5k's in them, they're now my favourite for longer runs. I use the Ravenna for anything less then 10k. I'm 5'6" 125pounds.

I've been a long time New Balance 760 runner and these trainers are the best I've ever run in. Six-mile runs turned into eight-mile runs and eight-mile runs turned into ten-mile runs. All around a great shoe!

The 767 was too hard; the 768 flexed at the arch. This shoe is just right. Lightweight, good cushioning, medial post not too hard, flexes at forefoot, but not at the arch. They nailed it with this one.

A Fair value Deal! This shoe has been aptly grouped in the category`` Stability``, For, this shoe provides smooth support and guides through your strides! A Chinese product, this is product is rather cheap and fairly durable. It is light(only 12 ounces) and carries with it great breathability. A fair value deal, I think.

These were a revelation. The 766, 767, and 768 were all solid, reliable shoes. But the 769s combine the stability of those earlier models with a significant reduction in weight, and a much 'faster' feel. The fit is slightly more narrow - took a bit of fiddling with the laces to get used to - but it does make for a better fit. Very impressed. . .

I ordered these and the Asics 2140 in my usual size, 15 4E. Asics fit like the were a D and a size small. These 769's are awesome, especially in the white and yellow (ordered them elsewhere for the color) they fit perfect, good forefoot cushioning, I've always loved the N-Lock. Light, wonderful shoe. Just goes to show, its a shoe made in America, made for Americans! I needed good shoes fast as I leave for Las Vegas Thursday morning. I'm sticking with NB!

The 122x series got too expensive so I "downgraded" to this. That was a smart move. Enough cushion and plenty of support for me: 160 lb, 6'0", pronator w/ orthotics. A little clunkier than the Nike Air Structure Triax, but more room, cushion, support, longer lasting.

I was really surprised with how much I liked this shoe. I am a 5'10," 165 lb runner who puts in 30-40 miles per week. I have put around 100 miles on this shoe, and it still feels like new. No issues on 10+ mile runs, I still feel like I could run forever at the end of thos longer runs. Great support, and perfect cushioning for my body type.

Much better cush than previous versions and the new last fits better (more room for the big toe). Stability is mild in that the posting isn't obvious to the foot. Many stability shoes feel like they throw your heel out at contact;these do not making them good for neutral to mild O/P.

I love this shoe! It's SO MUCH LIGHTER, and the transition is a lot smoother than 768! Definitely recommend this shoe who wants a good, supportive stability shoe that has pretty good duration. I cannot believe at how light this shoe is! Cushioning is GREAT as well!
