Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I've been running 6-8 miles and they feel great. Received lots of compliments. Would definitely buy from New Balance again.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: Avid road runner. Have a long history of plantar facitis so use custom orthotics so can't comment on the arch support. Went from Sacony to Acics to New Balance. So far New Balance has been the best. Have been very pleased with the last 6 pairs I've owned. Plus they are made in the USA.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: This shoe is great. It's a lot lighter than some of the older NB models.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: I work out 5-6 days a week and finding a comfortable shoe was very important to me, when I received the shoe I put it on it felt very good, perfect fit, my immediate thought was " will it continue to feel comfortable while I am running" Well guess What! The shoe was very comfortable and my co-worker complimented me on my shoe, she said they are cute.. They also look good on my feet, I am very happy with this shoe, I am very picky so this was just perfect. Thank you Road Runner!!!

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: I go to the gym 5 days a week and switch up my aerobics from eliptical to strength training, to treadmill, to stairs, cycling and weight training. These shoes have all around comfort, before my toes would get numb on the eliptical, but with these shoes I have not felt any tingle or numbness.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: the info told me to get this shoe a 1/2 size bigger, but i decided to stay with the size i am. and i'm glad i did, because it's not quite a 1/2 size larger than my shoe would normally fit, but it's enough to tell a difference when i walk! however, when i use winter socks, they fit perfect! other than the size issue, they are pretty great for running!

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: I am heavy. 250# and feel that these have an excellent heel support. I use these for daily walking as well as 5K races for fitness. I have low arches and tend to underpronate. The salesperson at the NB store told me that the 1225s weren't really the correct type of shoe for my foot, but I disagree. They are perfect. My only beef is that they seem to wear out fast. My husband disagrees and says that I wore the shoes out! At any rate, I purchased a second pair and since they are endangered...I plan on trying to get another pair to have in reserve. Great shoe!

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: The ASICS Kayano 15 started giving me foot problems. I have been wearing the Kayano's for years. I tried on the 16s at a local running store and the fit was awful. It was worse then the 15. So I needed to look for a new brand in a stability + shoe. I am very happy with 1225. I feel very stable on my runs, there was no break-in time, very true to size.
Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: Very light shoe. Feels as though I am wearing the Adrenaline with a lot more support/cushioning in the front where I need it. Going up 1/2 was too big...wearing my street shoe size with thin socks. RRS customer service made it easy to exchange at store. Terrific RRS customer service. Pros

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: I have wide flat feet. I find arch supports make my feet feel worse. I can work out and walk better with good cushioning and good fitting shoes. I wore these comfortably straight out of the box...to the gym and to work. I got them on the daily special and would have bought two pairs if I'd have known how good they feel.
Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: I ordered 2 pairs. The blue/white pair hurts the top of my foot. The tongue is thick, long, and the sizing info is on a stiff leather strip which presses on my foot. Yellow doesn't! Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: These are quite bad, really, and it's a huge disappointment. And since New Balance makes you go through an irritating registration process just to send them basic feedback, I'm opting to list my specific complaints here for all to see instead. Pros

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: That it looks good is merely a bonus. Comfortable and stable. New Balance 1225 has kept me running longer than I could have otherwise. No more knee aches or lost toe nails. Meets my needs in every way. I can't stray from the New Balance 1200 series.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: I think these shoes have great stability and style. I just started running again after a year or so and I have not had any problems with them. They keep me going on my run because they absorb a lot of shock. I really enjoy running in them.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: I am an endurance athlete. I put on a lot of miles on my shoes. I broke these shoes in with no blisters. I only had them for two weeks and plan to run a marathon in them with complete comfort.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: I only gave this product a 4 star because unfortunately, it is being discontinued by the NB and upgraded to 1226. I have purchased the 1225 NB twice, used it for all of my long runs. I have had the advantage rotating different shoes for different runs throughout the week. I know that I can rely on these shoes for my long runs that the first one I purchased, I put in over 300 miles on them. I originally thought they were bulky but once i started using them for my long runs, they proved to be reliable and with great support.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: I am currently training for the MCMarathon. I run 70+ a week (which is likely why I feel they wear out quickly). As far as cushioning, I like alot of cushion. However, these have very little in my opinion. I traded the idea of cushy for practical. I have had no injuries wearing 1225s and I am on my 6th pair. I tried the 1226 once, and immediately went back to the 1225. 1225 has more room in the toe box and width in general. I like the length and width of these. The purple blue ones are much nicer looking than the yellow/green. I have them in 3 colors.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1225 Running Shoe: This has been a great shoe for me and have ordered a second pair. I did put inserts in them because I was having issue w/toes going numb on right foot & it helped alot. Love the shoelaces, training for NY marathon and these are the shoes to wear!
