      This shoe is made in America and I like the idea of supporting American workers. It's April and I am in the early stages of preparing for an October marathon. The second time I wore this shoe was on an 11 mile run in the rain. This shoe remained light and continued to provide just the right mix of cusion and stability for a 200-pound, medium-build body. Folks putting down their hard-earned cash on this shoe get a light, durable trainer at a fair price, along with the knowledge that those dollars stay in the USA.

        ı live in Turkey, Ankara. ı've been running for 4 years regularly 35-40 km per week, out door and tread mill. up to now ı used nike and adidas models like triax, vomero, adizero. yesterday ı came across this model in a sale. and the result s a miracle! no pain, no adaptation for foot, no runners knee effect...perfect!! ıf u r a serious runner, buy NB or asics..ı dont know sucony or brooks but ı think they are also like NB and asics. as for nike and adidas (puma, reebok also), away from them. they all dont know how to make running shoes, all they know s how to make advertisement!

          I got these as a replacement for NB 760's.The 760 held up well and was probably the best running shoes I have owned in 25+ years of running. They held up well, provided good support and cushioning for the life of the shoe and kept me injury free.For a 200lb runner that's an accomplishment. My experience with the 860 seems to be the same. It is also a plus to get a shoe that is made in the USA.

            I am new to running, and my trainer suggested that I find some running shoes that really fit. You see, I am a woman with huge feet (12 women's or 10.5 men's). I've been buying men's athletic shoes for years, not realizing that none of them have fit well. This shoe is perfect for me, because it has a narrower than average heel while the rest of the shoe has an average width. Thanks, New Balance.
