Comments about Mens New Balance 1110 Trail Running Shoe:

I do a weekly 10 mile trail run and often longer ones on the weekends. These have been fast, light, and fun... on dry trails. Not so durable however. I estimate they lasted 30 runs before I blew out the mesh over the toes in the Dipsea race.

If they were waterproof, I would deal with the short lifetime and get another pair.

Comments about Mens New Balance 1110 Trail Running Shoe:

I've been wearing New Balance shoes for years, primarily because they offer wide widths (I ordered these in 2E). I have liked New Balance trail shoes, including the 749 and 909 models. But I don't like these shoes and will be returning them after trying them for a few weeks. The cushioning and tread design are good. But the toe box is strange. The toe seam is very prominent inside the shoe, and my big toe hits it when I run. In addition, the shoes push my feet much too far to the inside. For me, these shoes are uncomfortable and atypical of New Balance.
