      This shoe is made to hit the dirt,Great ground feel. I run steep rocky trails mostly in sandals, but these shoe make me want to wear shoes again! The deconstruction is incredible, size 11 is 4.8 ounces. Not for everyone especially if you run in thick soled running shoes.

      Comments about Mens New Balance Minimus Zero Trail Running Shoe:

      I absolutely loved this shoe. It disappears when you hit the trail. Some of the design fetures, like the stitchless construction, well thought-out. Sadly this shoe self-destructed in less than 50 miles. The biggest problem was the foam sole, which quickly compressed and created serious rollover issues. I was ready to ascribe this to a last not correct for my foot, but no, it is the foam material NB selected--simply not durable enough for the job. Lesser concerns were the readiness of the tread to separate from the foam, and the marginal security of the treat on rocks.

      If you can afford to replace these shoes every 30 or 40 miles of serious trail time, they are great. I can't, so I'm going back to the Minimus 10, a shoe I'd give 5 stars and then some.

      The upper started tearing up within 6 weeks of use. I returned them. I have not had the same issue with the Minimus Road Shoe (MR00).
