Just got these shoes and since they're a new model, thought I'd send a review asap. NOTE: These are called 3090, but they are in the Minimus line (says so right on the shoe). As such, they are super light and have little structure underneath. The little raised bubbles on the sole - esp. in heel - wore down in TWO runs (13M total). Maybe I will save these for short races only or maybe they're ok for lighter folks (I am 140 lbs, size 6-8 clothes, tall). Or maybe I'll love 'em so much I'll just keeping buying frequent replacements! No strain on calves or feet to-date. Gee, I do love lightweight but the durability (of most models I've tried) is disappointing.

Comments about Womens New Balance 3090 Running Shoe:

The best minimalist shoe I have tried. Now have about 100 miles on the shoe and very little wear. I weigh 150 lb. The shoe is well cushioned in the forefoot, hugs the heel and has a very wide forefoot so my Mortons neuroma is not aggravated. I usually wear a 9.5 to 10 size with socks and light orthotic...these shoes fit perfectly at size 10 without socks or orthotic. No rub issues without socks.
