Comments about Womens New Balance 1260v2 Running Shoe: This shoe had the best step in feel of anything I've tried. Not too soft and not stiff. Support is excellent for neutral/mild over runner. The flexible forefoot allows carefree striding and the lowered drop felt great. The problem for me was that the flex points didn't match up with my foot and hot spots occurred by mile 2. So sad to return these...

Comments about Womens New Balance 1260v2 Running Shoe: Love these shoes! I've been running in them since the first version. I have bunions and overpronate, but these keep my feet stable and are wide enough to accomodate my feet. I take the insoles out and replace with my orthotics and they are great for running - no pain in my feet after running!

Comments about Womens New Balance 1260v2 Running Shoe: I do mostly trail running but need a shoe that can hit the road with good heel/forefoot cushion, stability and that will accommodate my orthotics. This shoe fit the bill and I am impressed that with the amount of support it still seems supple in the forefoot.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1260v2 Running Shoe: This is my second pair which I've been wearing to train for a spring marathon. I previously wore the 1260 and love the v2 update. The shoe is definitely lighter without compromising support and comfort. I always size up a half size with New Balance for a perfect fit.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1260v2 Running Shoe: Trying this shoe for the first time. I *love* the feel of it; it allows a supported/cushioned but natural stride, with good flexibility for the ankles. The 8-mm drop also feels great in combination with the support of the shoe. This is literally one of the only road shoes that fits me properly now; I need some width for my forefeet, but my heels are quite narrow. I don't have to mess with alternative lacings--I can just put the shoes on and run! Of note: the only design element I am needing to monitor is the height of the toebox. It is quite shallow, so the tops of my toes are making contact with the mesh. The mesh has a lot of give, so I'm not having a problem with friction to this point. I do think New Balance should add a few millimeters of height to the toebox, though.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1260v2 Running Shoe: Stability was suggested by my foot doctor and this one worked the best for me. My foot is wide and the mesh design is forgiving. Love the new color combo.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1260v2 Running Shoe: I just got these in December after spending the last 6 months trying to find the right shoe for me--the last shoe I loved was discontinued. I have 2 different size feet--1/2 size different and really wide feet and these shoes fit great despite my personal deficiencies. I am going to stock up before this one gets discontinued.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1260v2 Running Shoe: An annoying "niggle" in my left knee was making it more and more difficult to continue my practice of running 40 miles per week. I tried these because I've liked New Balance's neutral shoes, but wanted to see if more stability would help my knee issue. The additional stability did the trick. The 1260 is stable, but also relatively lightweight. It doesn't have that inflexible, brick-like feeling of other stability shoes I've tried in the past. I'm loving running again, and I have these shoes to thank for it.
