This is my second pair of these exact 910's. Great cushioning, tread is great.
HOWEVER with both pair the fabric/mesh/webbing just below the laces and behind the toes tears/comes apart. It has happened with BOTH pair of these. This pair after only about 100 miles of just walking 5 and 10 miles at a time in an urban setting. My first pair lasted much longer (which is why I bought these). Seems it is the wrong fabric/mesh for this spot in shoe. Not flexible enought. It is too bad because the shoe has great cushioning (especially with insoles), and the sole is substantial unlike most shoes these days. Wish I could recommend, but they break too soon.
Long runs made easy!
I love this shoe for runs of 20+ miles and have used it in a trail marathon and two 50K races. Cushioning stays firm. It's slightly larger than other models I use (Montrail Bajada and the old NB 890), both in length and width - and I like that for anything over a couple hours. Inserts fit fine, tread is perfect for mud, rock or pavement. It's a sturdy shoe but feels plenty light. I think the heel rise is 8mm, which is what I prefer for balancing natural stride and protecting my achilles. My only complaint is about the silly bright colors.

Very nice trail shoe
I typically like wearing trail shoes to do some light trail running, hiking and wet weather/winter everyday wear. Up until now, my go-to shoe was the Brooks Cascadia. They were good off-road but on road it wasn't long before my foot would start hurting. I always felt that it fit a little too big and didn't have enough arch. The 910 cures all those problems. It has the all-day comfort of a road shoe with the durability of a trail shoe. My new favorite. Be aware: like many NB running shoes these days, it seems to fit a little bit narrower.

The 910 is the latest model of the NB trail shoe that I have purchased and liked for years. But not this time. The fabric over the toe box tore almost immediately if it snaged on anything. After of few weeks of light use the second layer of fabric tore as well and now my toes are starting to stick out. I don't know what NB was thinking on this one. Even tho' there is still a lot of life left in the rest of the shoe I've set them aside because of this problem. Very disappointed.

Decent trail shoe
Second pair I have bought, mostly because I am stuck on NB trail shoes. Probably need to branch out ;-) First pair I bought had a bad case of separation on the top of the shoes behind the toes after a season of running (a split directly behind the toes). I know I wore them for more miles than recommended, but I always do and this is the first time my NB shoes have come apart on me. The new shoes feel a bit rigid, but just now breaking them in. Dont expect much more than the first but am very disappointed in NB trail shoes in general.
Smooth out the ride
He is a shoe you can run in for hours. The tread has less nobs , more weight distrubution on the bottom. The toe box is perfect, good space for your downhill. It also accepts a insole better if you want to improve the fit even more. The shoe slips in sand a little more, but a better ride for most of your surface , which in the end gives your feet more miles.
