Comments about Womens New Balance 1400v2 Running Shoe: Use this shoe for light workouts (running, walking, around town). Love the fit-loose around the toe box. Wish this style was still in production.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1400v2 Running Shoe: I have had plantar fasciitis for the last 6 months and have tried 7 pairs of other shoes in the Neutral category. All of them were too bulky and had too much cushioning so I couldn't actually feel the road beneath my feet, nor were my feet "switched on" because the shoe was doing all the work. I'm so thrilled to have found these shoes. I absolutely love them and have no problem wearing them to run errands with jeans too as I really like the look/colors. I already pre-ordered the latest model and can't wait to break those in too!

Comments about Womens New Balance 1400v2 Running Shoe: I have a wide toe box, skinny heel, high arches. I'm 5'6", 125 lbs and wore the previous model about 4 times. They are light and low profile. I like shoes that spring me forward without too much cushion to where it feels like I'm sinking. These have the perfect balance. They are great for any distance from the track to my big 22 milers. The only down side is they don't last as long as more built up sneakers. Oh well. It feels great when I'm running and so it's worth the price of switching out more frequently. I rotate them with a couple of pairs to stretch them out a little longer. For once, an updated model is just as good, if not better than the previous model. These will work for your if you had the previous version. I have princess in the pea syndrome for running shoes… trust me!

Comments about Womens New Balance 1400v2 Running Shoe: I have been a "real runner" for well over a decade now and have been so jealous of people that have found "their shoe." I've never really loved mine. Until I got a pair of these on a whim--they are AWESOME. I will say they seem to be wearing out quickly, but I do run 30-55 miles a week right now so keep that in mind. They generally fit so great and aren't that pricey that I really don't care. They are super light and fast but still offer enough cushion. Totally recommend these for a neutral arch runner that doesn't like the feel of "too much shoe."

Comments about Womens New Balance 1400v2 Running Shoe: I absolutely LOVE this shoe. I keep getting this shoe, I'm on my fourth pair. They are incredibly light-weight, fast, and fit my foot perfectly. I have a narrow foot. I'm 5'5", 110lbs and run 40-50 miles/week. I was a collegiate runner at a D1 school and these are my favorite shoes I've ever had. However, they are not very durable. They tend to wear out quite quickly. Granted I run 6-10 miles/day. I do have two pairs of these shoes and switch them out every day. Despite the lack of durability, I still love these shoes and would definitely recommend them for a light weight trainer.

Comments about Womens New Balance 1400v2 Running Shoe: I have owned a few New Balances before, and as a neutral runner, these 1400's are the absolute best shoes for running that I have ever owned! The size runs true, is very light weight but still provides significant support. I run about 4 times a week and use these New Balances for short runs, long runs, interval training, hill training, Zumba, and cross training. I am in love with these shoes and want to buy another pair! The laces stay put, I don't even have to double tie them, and they are very breathable.
