Best Uses
Took these for a 5 mile test run last night. They are comfortable and offer a lot of cushion, but do not have enough arch support for me. They would probably be fine with inserts, but I'm going to send them back for another pair. I ordered my normal running shoe size (1/2 larger than regular shoes) and the fit was good. They also accommodated my wider feet even thought they weren't actually wide width. I like everything about them but the lack of arch support.

I run about 10 miles a week. I went for a 6 mile run out of the box and my feet were in great shape after the run. I was disappointed with the 1080v4 because of foot pain problems after runs that did not occur with the 1080V3. I was ready to change Brands after running in NB shoes for decades. Thanks New Balance!

Best Uses These shoes are so comfortable right out of the box!!! I never take the time to write reviews but felt I must! I was disappointed with the quality of the 1080V4 but decided to give the V5 a chance. I have plantar fasciitis and other issues with my feet. These shoes are cushioned and so comfortable. I am so pleased I am going to order another pair. The one and only complaint I have with the V5 is there are not enough color choices.
