Best Uses I have had 3 or 4 previous 890s, most recently the 890v4, so I was excited about the newest version. Unfortunately, after only about 200 miles in my v5s, my toe had come through the top of this shoe. Now I cannot even wear them casually unless I find socks the same color. Disappointing for a NB wearer since 2011.

Best Uses Top of Shoe will wear away. I tried it on in the store, found a perfectly fitting shoe, but noticed that there was some discoloration in the front top of the shoe where the mesh is. I thought it was some acid or glue that had dropped on the three pairs they had in the store and decided to get it online. It turns out it was probably wear and tear from people trying it on in the store.
