These shoes have surpassed my expectations. I was hesitant to break away from Brooks Cascadia as my go-to trail shoe, but took the chance with these and haven't been disappointed. I put six miles on them today over some fairly rugged trails and my feet and legs feel great. I was skeptical about these being good trail shoes considering the amount of cushioning, but it has in no way sacrificed stability. No turned or twisted ankles through the entire six miles, and the cushioning is amazing. The shoes are lightweight as well as responsive and supportive. Whether working up steep inclines in the trail, or down, I didn't feel any play in the shoes or lose traction. I will be taking them to the Rockies in a couple weeks as my trail shoe.
Pros
Cons Best Uses I've run NB trail shoes for 15 years and this is hands-down their best shoe yet. Comfortable, stable, light, really durable. Any distance any trail.
Pros Cons Best Uses I feel this shoe is most at home on the trail, and off trails too. The soles are engineered to perfection. They are light with unbelievable traction in all conditions. Although I'm not sure how durrable they are, I've only had them out a dozen times so far. The shoe is light, nimble, and responsive, yet my foot is protected and supported. Pretty sure my hiking boots are going to get dusty and crusty. Except for extreme scree, and muddy conditions, I'll be sporting my New Balance sports cars.
Pros
Cons Best Uses I use these trail running shoes for day hiking and I really like them. I hike in Andalusia in Spain over mountain trails with a lot of ascent and descent. A typical hike is about 10 miles with 2,000 to 3,000 ft elevation gain and descent. I have used them so far about 10 times, and their durability seems good so far. As they say, a pound off your feet is like 5 pounds off your back, and these lighter shoes are really enjoyable. They have excellent grip, are comfortable, specially in the wider size with big toe box. I wear them with a Your Sole footbed because I have flat feet and for me there's no problem with the internal shoe volumn. I adjusted the shoe laces to tighten the heel grip after the first hike, but they are comfy now. Wearing a light trail runner might not work for all hikes but they work well for me. I recommend them and am ordering a second pair for future use.

I really like this shoe. It has enough meat to it to use on your easy days, but is lighter than most other trail shoes- so you can run fast(er) in them too. Excells as a versitale all around shoe.
Pros
Cons Best Uses I've struggled to find a good pair of stability trail shoes that come in extra wide width. I find these fitting and performing very similarly to my Nike Zoom Structure. I've yet to run them on trails but they handled snow very well on a hill run.
