Women's New Balance® 769 :: Our moderate stability trainer which features our TS2 medial post for smooth stability, and our ACTEVA® midsole, with D.T.S. in the heel and ABZORB® in the forefoot, to provide a responsive and cushioned ride. 9.5 ounces Reviewed by 7 customers Displaying reviews 1-7 Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe: This shoe is way too narrow. I suffered from squished toes, blisters, and ultimately some poor running form that ended up in pulled calves and pinched nerves after I switched to this shoe. I might consider getting it in "wide" to see if that works, but for now have opted to go back to the 763, which is tried and true. And if you look at the toe boxes of the two, you can see that the toebox of the 763 is almost twice as big as the 769. Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe: Why oh why try to improve something that is already GREAT? BRING BACK THE 768! I bought these and am sending them back this weekend. I gave them every chance - tried different insoles and socks. They just aren't working for me. Even have some new knee pain. Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe: This shoe is very comfortable! Between the cushing and the stablily. Plus they are very fashionable! Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe: I moved into these when 768 model was discontinued. I run 35-40 miles/week and these don't last the full 220 the predecessor did, and I find myself swapping shoes every 180-200 miles. Great fit but cushion is lacking making it break down faster. Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe: This is a great shoe! Fits my narrow foot like a glove and the stability is exactly what I need for my long runs. I plan on buying another pair! Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe: I run on average 25-30 miles a week. I have to wear orthotics r/t metatarsalalgia and I'm an overpronator. I highly recommend this shoe for stability. I'm buying 2 more pairs as I'm training for a marathon. This shoe is light weight and PERFECT! Comments about Womens New Balance 769 Running Shoe: This shoe fits my narrow foot however I cannot go over 1 mile before it starts hurting and makes me feel like I am over pronating. I also wear arch support with support for the metatarsol and that does not even help.
