Comments about Womens New Balance 940v2 Running Shoe:
I have put about 50 miles on these, all running, split between treadmill and outside. On the plus side, these are light, feel fast, breath and stay cool. They fit comfortably. They do a good job of controlling pronation, which makes them average, since they are a motion control shoe. On the downside, the insole is too thin, especially up front. My toes and forefoot take a beating wearing these. I have a pair of Asics Gel Fortes that don't fit quite right, and harvested the insoles from them to put in the New Balance. That works a lot better. Will wear that set-up in the Colorado Half Marathon next week. No way would I run 13 miles in these shoes the way they came, there just isn't enough structure in the front half of the shoe.
