Comments about Womens New Balance 840 Walking Shoe: This is their best walker yet for those of us who really need a wide toe box. Tongue gets in the way of walking the LEAST compared to their shoes I've worn 20+ years. The problem is the style: neither stylish/hip nor classy. What I need & want most a beautiful, classy shoe (i.e., solid black without that ugly large N and other "hip" features that look weird on a black walker) that works for both walking & professional work (I do both all day) -- or that would transfer to the symphony, opera, or boardroom. But it's the best walker I've ever had -- in the end, comfort & performance trump all. I bought Spira black walkers for the days I need dressier, but looks like that's on the way out. Buy your regular "New Balance" size -- seems to be 1/2-1 size up from your other shoe sizes

Comments about Womens New Balance 840 Walking Shoe: Although I have found that New Balance walking shoes are the most comfortable walking shoes for me, they are not exactly stylish. All those cute shoes in different colors out there are just not as comfortable for me so for REAL walking I stick with NB even if a bit drab. Also, although I stated that it feels true to size I had already sized up a 1/2 based on prior experience and recommendations I saw online.
