Great shoe!

        Love the shoe and I walk in them 7 days a week at around 3 miles per day. Trying to secure another pair asap! I'd like some other color choices but grey will do.

        Wide toe box but not a technical shoe

        The 877s are comfortable to wear around the house. But that's about it. They lack support, especially in the rear, and lack adequate cushioning.

        These are not technical shoes, as far as I can tell. I wouldn't run or even walk any distance in them.

        I bought them because New Balance discontinued my 840 series running shoe and says there won't be an update until September.

        The 877s do have the same wide SL2 last. And they are clean looking. But that's about it. I'll wear them around the house and maybe for walking the dogs around the block.

        Meanwhile, my hunt continues for a neutral, cushioned shoe with an SL2 last that comes in wide sizes and neutral colors.
