Comments about Nite Beams Fiber-Optic Lighted Shoelaces Safety: What a great idea! The laces really work well and show up in the dark. A great safety item. Really calls attention to the runner. We have reflective vests- coupled with the shoe lace lights- really helps us feel safer running in the dark.

They're much brighter than I expected and have 3 settings--fast blink, slow blink,and steady. Very visible and just plain fun. I have people stop me when I'm out running and ask me about them. I wear a women's 8.5 wide shoe and think the length is fine.

Best Uses Comments about Nite Beams Fiber-Optic Lighted Shoelaces Safety: I loved the idea of these so much that I gave them as stocking stuffers BUT when I tried to lace up my shoes I found the laces were too short! I have narrow feet so the battery compartment prevents me from lacing my shoes as tightly as normal. My Dad has wide feet so I doubt he will be able to tie his shoes at all. That said, I'm sure we will all figure out "workarounds" to make them work for us. Pros
