Comments about Mens Nike Free 5.0 v2 Running Shoe:

I love these shoes. I wore them yesterday for a 20 mile easy training run. Today I feel great. I'm a proponent of the Chi Running technique. These shoes are the best "Chi" shoes I've tried. Traditonal shoes feel very strange after running "Free."

Comments about Mens Nike Free 5.0 v2 Running Shoe:

Believe it or not, I think Nike undersells these shoes. If most runners knew how great they were they would steal sales of "higher end" stability shoes.
I am an overpronator (I used to wear Saucony Hurricanes). These shoes are categorized as 'neutral' but are wonderful for me. I'm running faster than ever.
These are my main training shoe, and I've successfully used them for runs up to 17 miles. I'm tempted to try them out in a Marathon, but haven't had the nerve to try yet (I'm using the Saucony Tangent for marathon races as they still 'feel' a bit faster to me).

Comments about Mens Nike Free 5.0 v2 Running Shoe:

Finally, one good update made by Nike last year. I don't know how the other "Free"s ever felt, but I accidently bought a pair of the Cross Training ones and I despised their extremely low arch and was glad to find that these have a little bit of arch support which certainly does the job, still leaving them free. It seems like these are a bit firmer than the others, but now you can run farther in them.

Comments about Mens Nike Free 5.0 v2 Running Shoe:

Being prone to Achilles tendon injury, I need a shoe with plenty of forefoot flexibility. I tried the Free 4.0 when it first came out and loved it. The Free 5.0 adds a little more cushion and a tiny bit of support without compromising the extreme flexibility.
I just ran a marathon in the Nike 5.0 with no foot or ankle pain whatsoever. I love running in this shoe and plan to try the Free 5.0 Trail version for winter running.
I feel that the Nike Free concept is a perfect complement to the Chi Running technique.
